I used to ask myself if I’d ever get to the finish line… now I’m asking if I’ll be able to walk across it with my babies watching. My name is Londa Hardiman, and I am a mother of two and an auntie-mom to one. Every single thing I’ve done, every sacrifice I’ve made, has been for them. There were days I didn’t know how I would make it, nights I stayed up worrying, praying, and pushing myself past exhaustion—but I kept going. Not just for me, but so my children could see what perseverance looks like in real life. On June 13, 2026, I will be graduating with my Master’s degree in Public Health Administration from Strayer University in Baltimore, Maryland. This isn’t just a degree—it’s a symbol of breaking cycles. No one in my immediate family had this opportunity. I carried not just my dreams, but my mother’s sacrifices with me every step of the way. What hurts is knowing that I may not be able to afford to bring my children with me to witness this moment. They are my “why.” They’ve watched me struggle, sacrifice, and stay determined. They deserve to see me walk across that stage. They deserve to feel that moment—to know that no matter where you start, you can finish strong. I am asking for help to cover travel, lodging, and basic expenses so I can get to Baltimore and have my babies there with me. This is not about luxury—this is about legacy. This is about showing my children that dreams are worth fighting for, even when the odds feel stacked against you.
