After 18 years of marriage, my husband and I received the most unexpected and wonderful news on New Year's Day 2026—we are expecting! At our confirmation ultrasound, we found out we are having twin girls, due August 25, 2026. This surprise has filled our hearts with joy, but it has also brought a whirlwind of emotions as we prepare for the arrival of our daughters. Unfortunately, I lost my job in March and have been unemployed since then. As a result, our bills have piled up, and we are facing financial uncertainty at a time when we want to give our twins the best possible start. We have no baby supplies or furniture yet, and our home needs to be reorganized to make space for two little ones. We are also preparing for the possibility that our twins may arrive early, as many do, and may need to spend time in the NICU. The thought of medical bills and the costs of a hospital stay are overwhelming. We are reaching out to our community for help. The funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, baby supplies, and getting our home ready for the twins. If we are fortunate enough to receive extra support, we hope to start a fund for future expenses for our girls.
