 Hi, I'm Kat.
</div>
<div>
 Some of you know me from TikTok (@highesthopesofficial), where I talk skincare, supplements, and whatever else I've been obsessively researching. Some of you know me in real life. Either way, I'm so grateful you're here.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Last year I was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. By the time they found it, it was too advanced for surgery or radiation, it has been a long tough fight so far. Recently my team finally started me on immunotherapy.
</div>
<div>
 My body couldn't handle it. I made it through three infusions, and after each one I ended up admitted to the hospital within days. During that time the tumor grew quickly. I needed an emergency colostomy, I lost all my hair, and I'm fighting infections my body can't clear, with fluid building up around my kidney and lung.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My oncologist has now taken me off treatment and referred me to hospice. The message I've been given is that there's nothing more they can do.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I'm not ready to accept that.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My plan is to go to the Hope4Cancer clinic in Mexico. I know people personally who have gone and have had amazing results. I'm not expecting a miracle cure. I'm going to rest, rebuild, and get my body strong enough to keep fighting after what immunotherapy took from it. And to get back on track for beating this. Once I'm stable, I hope to pursue more targeted treatment, which will be a separate fundraiser down the road. This is round one.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My brother is coming with me as my caregiver, and I couldn't do this without him.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Where your support goes:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Treatment at Hope4Cancer: 3-weeks of intensive, alternative &amp; natural therapies, lodging &amp; food for me and my companion, take-home equipment, and 3 months of supplements and at-home protocols.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Travel for my brother and me: flights, ground transport, and extra baggage/shipping for medical equipment.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Bills and living expenses back home while we're away/not actively earning income.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I know this might sound like an insurmountable number, but even if each of my 87K TikTok followers donated just $1, we'd be there. Some of them won't see this, some can't give anything, and some will give more than $1 - it will balance out. If you can't donate, sharing this page helps just as much. Every share could reach someone who can give.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 With your help, this is absolutely possible.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for being in my corner.

 Keeping the Highest Hopes.

Help Kat Keep Fighting

<div>
 Hello, my name is Rimas and khadija, and I live in Gaza with the rest of my family. I am reaching out to ask for help in securing food and water for my family and myself. My father also requires medical treatment for injuries sustained during days of intense bombardment targeting the "Central Area – Al-Bureij." Our home was struck without warning while he was inside; he was injured in the attack and subsequently hospitalized, and he is now suffering from hearing and vision problems. and other problems. Subsequently, the hospital came under threat. We headed to the camps sheltering thousands of people and lived on the street, as there was no one to help us; but by the grace of God, we secured a very small tent in Gaza City to serve as our home. My family had bought our dream car in 2023—just two months before the war—but its windows were shattered, just as our lives were destroyed by the war.After Israeli occupation forces destroyed our home—leaving behind nothing but ash and rubble—we lost our cherished memories and all our possessions, including clothing and furniture. We are currently exposed to the danger of gunfire, as there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip to protect us. We are forced to consume water that is unfit for drinking, so we ask for your help in securing food, water, clothing, and other essentials.
</div>
<div>
 My brother, Khalil, is studying medicine in Egypt; we hope you can help us reunite with him and reach safety.

Help a Palestinian family in need

<div>One week ago, I had dental surgery after root canals failed. Now, as I wait for the extraction sites to heal, I’m facing the next step: getting my teeth fixed so I can eat and smile comfortably again. Dental issues like this are never easy, and the costs can be overwhelming, even with insurance.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> I’ve taken out a loan to cover the dental surgery, but the company requires the full amount to be paid off within a year. With my current financial situation, that’s just not possible for me to manage alone. My insurance through work only covers cleanings and a little help with fillings, so I’m left to cover the majority of this bill myself. My dentist kindly put in a temporary tooth in the spot closest to the front so I don’t feel self-conscious about smiling, but it won’t hold for very long.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> This is the second time in less than a year that I’ve needed to ask for help with medical expenses, and I know it’s a lot to ask. But your support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story—would mean the world to me. Every bit helps, and I’m so grateful for any kindness you can offer as I work toward getting healthy and back on my feet.

<div>Hi everyone, this is Spain, Katie Greenwood Ross’ fiancé and partner of 9 years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Katie is a self-employed Providence-based artist whose creativity, generosity, and kindness has touched and inspired not just those closest to her, but the thousands who know her through her work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Katie was recently diagnosed with stage-3 breast cancer, and the required treatment schedule has led to a needed pause of her business, Thistle Thistle. Last month, I closed my own business to work with Katie at Thistle Thistle full time. With that combination, this means a total loss of our household income at an incredibly critical and taxing time.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>While Katie is receiving treatment, I will be caring for her and trying to run her business, as well as driving her to and from appointments, and advocating for her with doctors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The primary costs of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation should be covered by health insurance, though Katie’s deductible is rather high and additional services (e.g., egg freezing and cold capping) are not covered by insurance. Katie, Myself, and everyone who loves her would be so grateful for any funds you might be able to contribute to help cover her medical and life expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I know there are so many people who love and support Katie, and she always glows and smiles when she receives messages, letters, and e-mails from everyone, your support really means so much to us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to contribute financially, we would so appreciate your thinking of her and sharing her GoFundMe.

<div>The Ilwaco Tuna Club, and it's members are raising money to help the crab fisherman in Ilwaco who lost all of their gear just days before the crab season opens. More then 6000 crab pots had been staged on the wharf to be loaded onto boats this week for next weeks commercial crab season. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards helping buy gear and support the families effected by this horrible fire. Club members have vowed to donate the cost of a tank of fuel for each of our boats, we hope you can donate as much as you can so we can get these guys fishing next week.

<div>Hi, we're raising money to help Tenmoku (and her best buddy Mac) cover her recent very expensive hospital stay and treatment. Over New Year's Eve she had to spend two nights and three days in the emergency vet hospital on an IV, getting x-rayed three times, all sorts of blood work, and medication. The bill was $4000 for all that treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know there are a lot of folks who love and treasure Tenmoku (and her human), and we're hoping we can band together to make this a happier new year for them. No amount is too small - it all adds up. Please help out however you can.

<div>My name is Dom and I'm a screenwriter. After three years of writing, I've finished my 3rd screenplay. The name of the story is "I'm Sorry... I Made a Promise". This psychological thiller follows Alex, a retired cop with PTSD, Stephon, a 24 year old who lives in his 2005 Honda Civic and Lisa, an aunt who takes in her troubled nephew after her sister is killed during a "routine" traffic stop. These people are connected by a murder that happened 15 years prior to them meeting but when the truth comes to light, horrific consequences are to follow...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm going to be filming the movie myself, but to hire the crew, rent the equipment, rent shooting spaces, secure shooting permits, pay for wardrobe, hire talent, pay for festival submission applications... I need a working budget. That's where you come in. If you have a love for Film and would like to be a part of building a project such as this from the ground up, please consider backing my Independent Film by donating to my gofundme. All contributions are appreciated and will go straight to bringing this story to life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping to bring my story to the big screen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Disclaimer: no raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to your GoFundMe to your fundraiser story.

I'm Sorry, I Made A Promise.

<div>My children and I were evicted from our home and given 10 days to vacate. The landlord refused payment and opted instead to sell the house. This was an unexpected event and we are currently living in a hotel as I was not expecting to have to move until May. My goal is to raise enough money to maintain stable shelter until we find a permanent place of residence.

</div>
<div>I'm also in jeopardy of losing all my possessions due to overdue storage fees. Every little bit helps

<p>My name is Ajhani Azure, and I’m a 20-year old Jamaican singer, songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist from Brampton Ontario, Canada.

<p><br />In November of 2020, I came out to my mother as bisexual. In response, my mother violated my trust and promptly told my father, who disowned me in response.<br /><br />Since then, my home environment and relationship with my mother has been chaotic and detrimental to my mental health and well being. The multiple verbal altercations as well as situations where I’ve had to diffuse and deflect violence have brought me to a breaking point. If I’m going to be successful and thrive as a self producing artist and an autonomous person as a whole, I need to get myself out of this environment, get my mind out of this chaotic headspace and get my life on track.<br /><br />Anything at all will go a loooonggg way and is immensely appreciated!

Help an artist move out of my toxic & abusive home

I hate even asking for it but I need help, damnit.
The 5,000 will go straight towards paying for top surgery and my refrigerator and bills while I’m down. I’ve had my consultation and I’m excited to take the next step in scheduling a date.
With that being said, I’ll have to put down 20% to be able to save a date and get all excited for this adventure!
I appreciate you for helping out and being there ! I’m truly amazed by the wonderful people I have in my life, and the people whom I’ve surrounded myself with.
I would not be able to do this without you all ! ❤️

<strong>Please help us free people who are being held on bail in local jails in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The conditions and treatment of people in jail is violent and cruel. This is especially true during the current COVID-19 pandemic. <br /><br />With local, state and federal agencies failing our communities and continuing to lock people up, we will resist by bailing people out!<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47111096_1586908294614806_r.jpeg" alt="47111096_1586908294614806_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /></strong><br />In the past few months, FANG has bailed out several people with our limited funds. We have been receiving calls from people inside and will continue to bail people out as funds roll in. <br /><br />The FANG Collective, based in Rhode Island, started its Shut Down ICE campaign in August 2018. As the campaign has progressed, activists have also gone through the long and drawn-out process of the legal system. After spending days in the New Bedford District Court, we witnessed the countless attacks on poor and working-class people and those most impacted by systems of oppression in our community.<br /><br />As we have moved through the courts and jails, we have met people, heard their stories, and have tried our best to support victims of state violence captured in the deportation and incarceration machine. We have developed relationships both with people on the inside and with lawyers in the area who are connecting us to people who need bail support. <br /><br />Our campaign is based in Bristol County, Massachusetts. Thomas Hodgson, the county Sheriff,  has a tremendous amount of power and is a violent racist and close friend of President Trump. He continues to publicly refuse to release people from detention and incarceration during the COVID-19 outbreak, despite known cases in the Bristol County House of Correction. Facing tremendous public and legal pressure, a federal court has ordered over 43 people released from the Bristol County House of Corrections, but this is still not enough.<br /><em><br /></em><strong>Please support our efforts by donating to FANG’s Bail Fund</strong><em><br /><br />Once we receive funds the money will go toward bailing people out of Bristol County House of Correction and the Ash Street Jail and other locations on a case by case basis. Once people show up for their court hearings and their case is finalized, we get the money back and can continue to cycle it through to get more people out!<br /><br />The FANG Collective is a community organizing and direct action group that has been a part of campaigns for climate justice, indigienious sovereignty, prison abolition and resisting ICE. <br /><br />If you have any questions, you can email us at: [email redacted]<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47111096_1586908336136536_r.jpeg" alt="47111096_1586908336136536_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /></em>

<p><strong>*****<br /></strong><strong>On June 1, in celebration of Pride Month, I got on a ladder (which I never do because, well, I'm not so good on a ladder) and put up two Gay Pride flags</strong> ... one on a tree on my Effingham Falls, NH property that sits on Route 25 and the other on a tree on my Effingham Falls, NH property that sits on Route 153. It took me too long, I'm sure, but I was proud of my work -- and proud of these flags that symbolize hope, welcome, and pride for people like me who identify as LGBTQ. <br /><br /><strong>Today, I found that the poles were ripped down and the flags taken.</strong><br /><br />I'm not going to let myself be sad right now ... or worried ... or anxious. That'll come along when I calm down a bit, I'm sure. I'm going to put a flag (or something) back up. And I'll do it again and again if that's what's what. Gettysburg Flag Company couldn't have been nice when I was in touch with them. Their beautiful flags -- made in the USA -- are just lovely. But they suggested going the cheap route on Amazon or something in case this destruction is not just a one time thing. I'm thankful to Rob who helped put up the homemade rainbow signs Colin and I made last week which, until an hour ago, were propped in front of my house.<br /><br />I'm wondering if some friends might be interested to <strong>help me with a few dollars</strong> with purchasing these replacement things ... I know that I'm inclined to want to help with an arising need now and again for the sake of good and thought maybe others might feel similarly with this particular effort. I plan to me ready to purchase whatever supplies necessary in the Pride Month weeks ahead to replace whatever is destroyed. Symbols of Pride are needed here in Carroll County , New Hampshire.<br /><br /><strong>These are strange times.</strong>

<strong>PAO- Periacetabular osteotomy. That's what I'm having done on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019. For my left hip, this time. </strong><br /><br /><strong>A What?!</strong><br /><strong>I was born with malformed hips (lucky me!) and doctors need to Cut the hip in 3-4 places, Rotate the piece(s) and align so the femur is more fully covered (stable), then Screw it back into place, so I can walk again without pain :O. (My right hip has 6 screws.) The bone should grow back and fill in the cut places, as with a broken bone.  See picture below:</strong><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/43368038_1574155903249364_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="43368038_1574155903249364_r.jpeg" />I had the RPAO (right side PAO) done about six years ago. It was torturous and I'm not greatly looking forward to going through it again, though I am happy to think I'll be in less pain (in a few months) and able to walk around without a leg giving out, randomly. That's always a "fun" surprise! Woooo!<br /><br />You may know about my other life traumas of the past year which led to some real sadness and fear: I lost my husband and nearly lost my home (I'm still not completely sure how I'll keep my house after June, but there's time to think about that.), and since I haven't worked a 'real job' for some time, because I was focused on making a career out of acting, I don't have real financial stability, right now.<br /><br />I did get a part-time job at a cat kennel, I've been working the occasional, part-time hours at a Theatre, and I re-signed up at my old temp agency, so I could make a little money before I am out of work for a few months. I even got a roommate for a while, though it didn't work out well.<br /><br />Thank goodness I still have insurance for another month! But, in 2020, the bills are all on me, including my post-op visit with x-rays and all the weeks of physical therapy. (I will continue to look into insurance options like Cobra, but, currently, this is the situation.)<br /><br />While acting hasn't paid all the bills, I've made myself into quite a networker (against my own nerves!), built up a great body of work, made friends, and really become more confident, courageous and determined! I am so grateful! Art is me. It's what I do. I'm not a "9-5" person, though I can push through in jobs like those for a while. I live to Art! And I Art to live.<br /><br />My *plan* is to look past this upcoming date (so I don't barf) to Jan/Feb/March when I'll be walking again and getting strong and fit, physically, and go, resolute, into my next auditions and earn All the Jobs! This must be.<br /><br />However, I will be, as they say, Sans Legs, for a couple months and likely very tired, groggy and tired ;) . And I will need to pay my mortgage and those upcoming bills (easily $1,000-$1,500 in P.T. alone).<br /><br />I made this fundraiser for the amount of two mortgage payments. I'm humbly asking for anything you can share to help me cover some of these larger costs until I can get back on Two feet. I know it's never fun to be asked to donate money, but I find that I feel good when I'm able to, even if it's just $20 to a bunny rescue or $1 to the "cat box" at Caturday! Please know that I will do my best to return the favor if you need it in the future.<br /><br />Thank you for reading! Please share this, if you like.<br /><br /><strong>*</strong>If you're interested in reading about my RPAO back in 2012, let me know and I'll send you a "transcript" :)

Hip, Hip...Hooray?

Tiger has been a part of this Valley his whole life.  This business is his lifestyle and home.  He did not need another terd sandwich.<br />I called Tiger Tuesday night to let him know his friends are rallying behind him and that he had close to $1000 at that time.  He was crying and in true Tiger form said "God Bless You All!"<br />Within 24 hrs the outpouring of support has raised over $1200!  and the momentum is building.<br />He did say he has insurance as many have asked me, but I doubt it will cover his losses.  His house is OK but it was close to going up too as the front got some serious heat.<br />Tiger's "new job" is to gather costs to replace all the equipment he lost. He sent me a note last night deeply grateful for all the local support and Ski Patrol support from around the State. He is thinking of ways to thank you all. I suggested a mud bog rally! 4th of July/Birthday party.  He laughed as he does and said "you aren't the only one to suggest that".

<strong>A little over a year ago, Mike Frizzell and his wife, Emily Cullen—two of the most thoughtful and compassionate people we’ve ever met—had their lives unexpectedly sent into a tailspin due to medical emergencies.</strong> Now, after each enduring intense, life-saving surgeries, Mike and Emily are finally able to start getting things back in order. But they need our help.<br /><br />In August 2015, Emily, a seasoned project management consultant, experienced an excruciating headache while traveling for work. Doctors discovered that her symptoms were caused by a cancerous brain tumor that had been growing for some time, and was finally having symptoms. Only one month later, and despite major potential risks to her long-term well-being, she underwent surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible, due to a lack of other options.<br /><br />Emily’s surgery was about as successful as possible, as evidenced by the fact that she is just as smart and quick-witted as ever. Unfortunately, when Emily shared her health news with her employer, she was laid off. Adding insult to injury, Emily was recently hired for a new contract position in September, only to have the entire project she was assigned to suspended indefinitely less than a week in through no fault of her own, sending her back to her job search.<br /><br />Because of the major financial setback Mike and Emily faced after Emily’s surgery, they were forced to sell their beloved home in Austin, TX, and to move to a more affordable house away from the city. During the heartache of that move, Mike—who has had problems with both of his feet for a long time due to injuries and diabetes—experienced a flare-up that spiraled into Charcot foot and dangerous infections.<br /><br />In this condition, Mike couldn’t stand for long periods, and had to quit his restaurant job—his and Emily’s only source of income at that point—and for several months stayed nearly silent through severe pain while driving for Uber and Lyft to support them both. His situation, however, despite medical attention, continued to worsen. And just last month, he was forced to endure a nuclear option: amputation of his right leg below the knee. Mike is now home recovering and is even healthy enough to be off insulin, but has a long road of healing and physical therapy ahead. In a few months he’ll be fitted with a prosthetic leg, and will be able to define a new normal life.<br /><br />Thankfully, Mike and Emily survived the last year, and the future is looking better for them. However, medical expenses have depleted their savings, and left them with a mountain of credit card debt.<br /><br /><strong>Our goal with this GoFundMe appeal is to help Mike and Emily out enough so they can catch up on their expenses and get back to work, and more importantly, back to happy, healthy, productive lives.</strong> For anyone reading this who knows Mike and Emily personally, you know they have always been the first in line to help others. And in fact, we know they hate the idea that we’re launching this campaign at all. But we also know that there are a lot of people like us who want to help, and that this is the best way we can.<br /><br />Inspired by an inside joke among some of our friends and the podcast we co-host with Mike (littleredbandwagon.com), we are asking everyone who can to help us get him and Emily “out of a couple of jams.” Simply put, any donation of any amount helps. And we are all extremely grateful for any and all support.<br /><br />Thank you,<br />Christy, Jeremy, Bobby, Meredith and Ann<br />Little Red Bandwagon<br /><br /><strong>Help spread the word!</strong>

<div>Roadogs urgently needs your support! In a crucial race against time, Roadogs stands at the threshold of securing what could be the perfect sanctuary for our 'Loveable Lemons'. This serene space in Central Southern California is more than land and buildings – it’s the future of hope and care for our dogs. Please help us raise $500,000 to save more lives and secure this property while we continue fundraising through other channels.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Need:</strong>
</div>
<div>Roadogs is known for rescuing underestimated underdogs. We believe that how we treat the old, sick and medically fragile is a reflection of who we are as a humanity and that these dogs deserve the best chance at life. We give them that chance. But the heartbreaking truth is that the future of countless dogs hangs in the balance because vets no longer want to board animals from the shelter, and the foster system is rapidly shrinking. We cannot rescue without somewhere for these dogs to go. We need this sanctuary.

<div><strong>Details:</strong>
</div>
<div>We've found an ideal five-acre property in nature with ample buildings, infrastructure, sprawling fields, and revenue-generating opportunities. The sanctuary is more than just a shelter; it's a commitment to sustainable and compassionate animal rescue. By supporting us, you're not only helping to provide a place for these dogs to stay, but also enabling Roadogs to become financially sustainable through innovative avenues like content production, event hosting. dog boarding and guest stays. Every contribution brings us closer to realizing this dream, allowing us to lay down the foundation - Brick by Brick - for a future where our rescue dogs can find love, care, and a place to call home.

</div>
<div><strong>Urgency:</strong>
</div>
<div>The Sanctuary is within reach, but we need to act fast. This space, with its natural tranquility and ample room, is just perfect for our needs. It's our chance to double the number of rescues and adoptions, focusing on medical and senior dogs who have nowhere else to turn. Raising $500,000 now is critical. It will allow us to make the initial payment and secure the property as we push forward with our overall fundraising goal of $1.5 million. This initial step is vital in our larger plan to provide a permanent, nurturing home for dogs, especially those with extra needs.
