For 27 years, my grandma faithfully worked as a school bus driver, dedicating her life to getting children to and from school safely every single day. She loved her job, took pride in serving her community, and never imagined she would be forced to stop working.
Last year, she suffered a sudden brain bleed that led to a stroke, leaving her with limited use of her body. Since then, she has fought every single day to regain her strength—therapy, exercises, doctor visits, anything that could help her get back to the job she loves. She has made incredible progress, but her recovery has been slow, and returning to work is still out of reach.
Because she has been out of work for so long, she is now struggling financially despite budgeting the little she has and doing everything she can to stay afloat. She’s not someone who asks for help easily—she is strong, hardworking, and independent—but this past year has pushed her to her limit.
We are raising funds to help her stay stable during this rough patch so she can continue focusing on healing without the constant stress of overdue bills. Anything helps—every donation brings her one step closer to getting back on her feet.
Thank you for supporting her during this challenging time! ❤️
