- I've asked before and I am asking again!!! I need your help no matter what it is., My dear husband Pat passed away from esophageal cancer in April. He was a self-employed plumber and had not worked for over a year. I teach real estate courses and am not working because of a serious injury. I am living on $918/month Social Security and the kindnesses of friends. My mortgage is over $1000/month and they are knocking on my door for past payments,, I have a car payment of $450/month and utilities etc. My checking and savings have been depleated -- right now the total is under $2,000!!! There is NO $$ for food -- and my dog Charlie needs some too! I sound like I am begging but I REALLY COULD USE YOUR HELP! Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!
- Hi everyone. My name is Lin and I live in Watertown. Some of you know me and some of you don’t. If you’ve been following the saga of my husband and me, it’s been an interesting year. He is recovering from esophageal cancer and now I’m in the hospital. I fell the other night, hit my head, and was taken to the local hospital. I’m recovering, but they are very concerned that I cannot walk and I have developed, unbeknownst to me, pulmonary embolisms.. So it looks as though I’m going to be in rehab for how long we don’t know. That doesn’t help our financial status. I know, I know… I’ve asked before. I don’t want to ask again. But, if you feel in your heart that you could spare a dime, I’d appreciate it for our bills. Pat is still not working, I’m sporadically teaching, and we’re living on Social Security. Not fun. I wish this no one. Thank you for considering this. Please pass this among your friends if you choose to. I sent you all a hug.♥️
