My name is Lillian, and I am a single mother doing my best to raise my 17-year-old son. Just a couple of months ago, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, life has been a whirlwind of doctor visits, treatments, and difficult decisions. I am unable to work right now and am only receiving 60% of my pay, which has made it nearly impossible to keep up with my bills. I had to move in with my mother for support, but I am still responsible for my car payment and making sure my son has what he needs.

 The funds raised here will go directly toward covering our living expenses and keeping up with my car payments. My car is essential for getting to medical appointments and taking care of my son, and losing it would not only disrupt our lives but also damage my credit. I want nothing more than to get through chemo and surgery, recover, and eventually buy a home for me and my son so we can have a fresh start.

 I have always been independent and never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help. It is incredibly hard for me to reach out like this, but cancer has left me with no other choice. I am doing everything I can to stay strong for my son and not let depression take over.
