Lilketha Pullin

Hi, my name is Lilketha Pullin. I was diagnosed with heart failure in 2019 after having a child that later died from birth complications. I have 7 kids total. My heart is running on a 23% chance of beating my heart failure. I go to the doctor for appointments regularly, but it seems like every day is a struggle. I currently have no place of my own, staying in hotels when I can, but mostly walking around daily and riding trains, which is not good for my health. I'm not the type of person to ask for help; I figured if I pray and do my part, things will get better. But realistically, I know this is no life for the type of condition I have. I am a hardworking mom who wants to be around for my babies. I have faith my conditions will get better, but lately, it feels like the doctors are giving up on me, telling me there's nothing more they can do and that I have less than 2 years to live. That can't be God. I know He is a loving and forgiving God, and I believe I have a lot more to offer this world. I'm only 28 years old, and I refuse to give in.

I'm asking that if anyone can help, whether it be financially, with housing, or just words of encouragement, I feel I have to get my story out there so maybe I can help others with the fight against heart failure. I don't have the best medical assistance, but I work with what I have, and I'm just asking for everyone's prayers, hoping that this isn't the end for me but the start of a new me and a new journey in life. Thank you all for your support and prayers in my fight against heart failure. It's really hard hearing doctors say I'm not a candidate for a new heart because I left the hospital from being scared, dealing with the reality that they have all but given up on me. This can't be how life is supposed to go, and I hope my story reaches someone who can help in any way. Thank you and blessings to all!
