Why I’m Asking for Help Hello, I’m Sue Berry — The Legacy Footprint Lady , and I’m building PassItOn-Digital , a secure online platform that helps families organise and protect their most important life information, memories, and documents all in one safe place. I’ve spent most of my life helping people get organised, feel supported, and make sense of things that feel confusing or overwhelming. It’s just the way I’m built… I like to make things easier for people. Over the years I’ve done all sorts of work — from running industrial production lines to creating inclusive training programmes for people with disabilities. No matter what I was doing, I always came back to the same belief: when things are organised, life feels calmer and people feel safer. Living in the Canary Islands as an expat, and watching my own family go through health scares and big life moments, I realised something important. Most families simply don’t know where anything is — documents, passwords, medical details, wishes, instructions — and when something happens, everyone is left stressed, upset, and searching through drawers and emails. I wanted to change that. So I created PassItOn-Digital , a simple, safe digital vault where people can keep all the important things their loved ones will one day need. I guide people through it gently, step by step, because I know how overwhelming this topic can feel. My work is really about love. It’s about making sure families aren’t left struggling. It’s about giving people peace of mind, especially over-50s, carers, and expats like me. I’m 67, still a bit of a workaholic, and I absolutely love building systems that help people feel more secure. I live in Fuerteventura with my husband, and although I miss my family, they are the reason I do this. I want to leave them something clear, simple, and comforting — and I want to help others do the same. If I can help someone feel even a little more organised and a little less worried, then I feel I’ve done something that matters. That’s why I’m here. That’s why I’m The Legacy Footprint Lady. So I created PassItOn-Digital — a digital vault that guides people, step-by-step, to record everything that matters: personal details, financial info, legal papers, healthcare notes, and precious memories. It’s designed especially for those who may not feel confident with technology, with friendly support and easy-to-follow checklists to make the process calm and reassuring. I’ve already built much of the foundation myself, but to take this to the next stage — completing the secure client portal, creating guided videos and printable resources, and making the service affordable for every family — I need a little help.
