Allison (Allie) Joy Walls is a vibrant 20 year old young woman from Hood River, Oregon. Allie had recently gotten a job and was making plans to move out on her own for the very first time.<br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/7494749_1450320697.168_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br />Then one day in late October 2015 Allie started experiencing pain in her hip. Over the course of six weeks the pain progressed. She thought it was a pinched nerve in her upper thigh but then was told it was likely a torn ligament in her hip. On December 3rd she had an MRI and the results were extremely suprising and concerning. They had located a large mass in her pelvis. Allison was referred to the Celilo Cancer Center in The Dalles however was in so much pain they recommended taking her to The Dalles Emergency Room.  She was then transported to OHSU in nearby Portland, Oregon. They did a biopsy and worked hard to manager her immense pain. <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/7494749_1450321883.4566_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />On December 14th, Allison learned that she has Lymphoma and was moved to the oncology unit at OHSU. On Tuesday she learned more specifically that she has Tcell Lymphoma ALK Positive Anapestic Large Cell Lymphoma (now isn't that a mouth full of cancer terminology?!). <br /><br />On December 16th Allie still had a high fever, an elevated heart rate and was still fighting a systemic infection. She also learned that she has a pulmonary embolism and a blood clot in her leg and was transfered to the ICU. <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/7494749_1450320729.1498_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br />They were able to do the PET scan on December 17th which confirmed the location of the main tumor in her pelvis and also located another in the muscles of her lower back. She was able to be released from ICU and transfered back into the Oncology unit there at OHSU. Her kidney's weren't functioning well however. <br /><br /> Allie shaved her head in preperation for Chemo and she looks fabulous! #NoHairDontCare<br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/7494749_1450498358.8804_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />Her dad Harvey also shaved his head to show his support for Allie! Way to go Harvey! <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/7494749_1450498485.9567_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />Allie spent Christmas there at the hospital which, as you can imagine, was tough but all of her friends and family helped make it one to remember for better reasons than her current diagnosis.<br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/7494749_1451539631.6313_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />After 23 days of hospitalization, 51 days of bed rest and 72 days of horrible mobility Allie was finally able to return home on December 28th! She has started treatments at Cello Cancer Center in The Dalles, OR and will be having regular check ups at OHSU as well. <br /><br />The family would like to thank everyone for their generous donations, healing prayers and encouraging words. As you can imagine this is an extremely difficult time for them but they are getting through it one moment at a time, together, the best that they can.<br /><br />I ask you to please share this campaign so that we can raise as much money to help her fight as good a fight as possible. If you can send a card or a prayer up above that would be appreciated as well. <br /><br />I know that we live in a wonderful community and if there was ever a time to step-up and rally around a family, a cause and someone in need that THIS IS IT! So for Allie, I ask all of this of each and every person who comes across this page.<br /><br /><br />This account has been setup to help Allison and her family pay for their mounting medical bills which already include an MRI, ER visit, transport to OHSU, a 23 day stay at OHSU, countless tests, labs, doctors visits and perscriptions.  A lot of people in the community have been asking the family how they can help in this difficult time so this campaign has been created for that very reason. Lets help take the financial burden off of their shoulders and let them focus on what really matters which is being together and healing. <br /><br />Please keep Allison and the Walls family in your thoughts and prayers.
