My family of 8 lost everything to a house fire in March, and we did not have insurance to help us recover. Overnight, we went from having a home filled with memories and comfort to living in a small camper, trying to make the best of a heartbreaking situation. The fire took away not just our belongings, but our sense of security and stability. We have struggled to find resources to help our family, and every day feels like a new challenge as we try to keep our spirits up for our children. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping us rebuild our lives. We hope to use your support to secure a new home and furnish it so our kids can have a safe, comfortable place to call their own again. We have been staying out of town because I needed surgery and help with my recovery. While we were away, our dogs stayed at home and we had people checking in on them. Unfortunately, during this time, my son's dog, Brewster, managed to get out. Someone hit him with their car and left him there without calling or helping. Brewster's leg is now completely broken, and the vet has told us it needs to be amputated to save his life. The funds raised will go directly toward Brewster's surgery, his hospital stay, aftercare, medications, and everything else he will need to recover and adjust. My son, Aiden, found Brewster when he was just a 3-day-old puppy and bottle fed him day and night to keep him alive. Their bond is incredibly strong, and Brewster means the world to him. Any help would mean so much to our family. If we can't come up with the money for Brewster's care, he will have to be euthanized, and that would break my son's heart.
