My name is Lauren Moscioni, and I have been supporting the war effort in Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion in 2022. In 2024, I was offered the privilege of serving on the board of Hope For Ukraine, a nonprofit dedicated to humanitarian aid and relief for those affected by the ongoing conflict. I have traveled to Ukraine twice in the past two years, working directly with displaced families and refugees in Lviv.
This summer, Hope For Ukraine is doing something extraordinary: bringing 40 children out of active conflict zones in Ukraine to a 10-day sleep-away camp in Italy. These kids have spent nearly five years living under heavy fire. Many have never known a day without the sound of sirens or the fear of bombardment.
This camp is their chance to just be children.
I am raising $5,000 to cover two critical needs: transportation costs to bring the children safely to Italy, and activity supplies so that every child can paint, create, and play during their 10 days of peace.
No donation is too small. Every contribution brings us closer to making this trip possible. Please share this page with your friends and family — together, we can give 40 children a summer they will never forget.
