So glad that Jaxson got the have a great weekend. He started off with a softball tournament for the Mya Strong Foundation Sunday he got to go to the pumpkin patch with University of Iowa Dance Marathon. Monday Jaxson spiked a fever and had to go to the local hospital, after 6 hours we were transferred to University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital, Jaxson was swabbed and tested and has been getting antibiotics to help with COVID. I was going to drive back and fourth to work, but sick season is here so bringing germs back a fourth isn’t the best idea. So we are stuck on isolation here until his ANC numbers come up. Taking it day by day. If anyone would like to help us while we’re here that’s always greatly appreciated, these unscheduled hospital stays can really take a toll sometimes.

Aug 2026 Jaxson was admitted for 11 days at the beginning of the month. Finally lost all his hair but he’s totally loving it. We were able to take him to the Iowa state fair and he was so happy. Happy to feel like a normal kid. Love Jaxson, Mom & Dad
