I live alone and lately, the walls of my apartment feel like they're closing in on me. I miss seeing my family, getting out in nature, and enjoying the simple things in life. It’s been hard feeling so isolated, and I want nothing more than to spend time with my mom and my son, who is very ill. We all deserve the chance to make memories together, outside of these four walls. The funds raised here will help us buy a wheelchair accessible van. With this van, I’ll be able to get out and experience life again, and my mom and my son can join me. It would mean the world to us to have the freedom to go places, enjoy nature, and do things as a family. This van would give us hope and the ability to cherish every moment we have together. Thank you from the bottom of our pea picking hearts. We love every thought, prayer, and donation given to myself and my family. You are the BEST, and your support means more than words can say.
I am totally disabled and spend most of my days confined to bed or in a large wheelchair. Right now, I can only leave my house for doctor appointments or hospital visits, and even then, I have to rely on ambulances or medical transportation. Despite these challenges, I still want to live life to the fullest and experience the world beyond my front door. What I need most is a large wheelchair-accessible vehicle that my family can drive me in, so I can regain some independence and joy. Having a wheelchair-accessible vehicle would open up so many possibilities for me. I could go to local festivals and outdoor concerts, visit the grocery store, and, most importantly, see my mom, who is also wheelchair-bound and lives just four miles away. Right now, neither of us can visit each other, which is heartbreaking. I would also be able to spend time with my grandchildren and their children, making memories and being part of family moments that I miss so much. Just being able to get out and enjoy community events would mean the world to me. I am reaching out to family, friends, and even kind strangers for help. Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—would make a huge difference in my life. Thank you for considering helping me regain my freedom and reconnect with the people and places I love.
