Right now, we’re in crisis: Rent is overdue, utilities are stacking up, and basic supplies are running out. Without help, we could lose our space and stop serving families who need us most. I am Lamar Mickens, President and Treasurer. For over 20 years we have provided direct services and support to children, families, and individuals in underserved communities. Why we need extra money right now We are facing a critical cash-flow shortfall at our current location (3943 Paseo Blvd). Ongoing operating expenses have piled up due to rising costs and delayed funding, putting our day-to-day operations at risk. How we will use the donations raised The $50,000 will be used exclusively for immediate operating needs at our existing facility: Past rent + late fees: $8,000 Rent for the next 6 months: $7,800 Current and past-due utilities: $15,000 Vehicle repair (transportation for program participants): $2,500 Additional used vehicle purchase (to replace unreliable transport): $15,000 Insurance and miscellaneous operating costs: $1,700 Total: $50,000
