My grandson is getting married in August, and this is a moment I’ve dreamed of for years. I haven’t seen my grandsons in over 20 years, and I’ve never had the chance to meet my great grandkids. <div>Hello, my name is Amanda Brochu. I currently am selling my home and am moving into my forever home with my family. Being a single mom, I worked extremely hard to purchase my first home all on my own. To say that I was excited to move into a new home, where my kids can grow and create new memories is an understatement. About a week after I listed my home for sale, I started to get phone calls and have people visit my home, trying to measure my driveway and state that they were sent by a landlord to replace the driveway. This, of course is impossible since I am the homeowner and never needed a new driveway. While I was preparing to head out of town for my birthday and Christmas with my kids, I received a ring doorbell notification that someone was outside of my house, ripping up my driveway before my eyes. By the time, the cops got there the company that was tearing up my driveway had already completed the job and left my driveway with only dirt. When the cops called the number for whomever “requested” the job, they at first denied it and hung up on the cops, but then proceeded to text the cop “it was a mistake” and sent the number of a supposed contractor that was actually the number to the Orlando Airport.  Of course no one has any information of who did this, no one really saw anything in the neighborhood, and now I’m left with no driveway. The cost to replace the driveway is astronomical and I’m seeking some sort of help so I don’t lose the opportunity to purchase my forever home that my kids have already fell in love with. This is a sad and tragic accident. Myles was only 15 years old. It is so close to Christmas and he was so young. I want to help Scott with expenses for his son’s funeral. <div>My name is RowVaughn Wells. I am the mother of Tyre Nichols. My son, Tyre Nichols, was pulled over for suspected “reckless driving” on January 7, 2023. There is no evidence to substantiate this claim. Further, police claim that my son left the scene on foot. It turns out that he was just trying to get to my house for safety -- which was only a few blocks away from where the incident happened. My baby was just trying to make it home to be safe in my arms. Tyre was unarmed, nonthreatening, and respectful to police during the entire encounter!

He died 3 days later, but I believe that my son died on January 7th, the moment those 5 Black Memphis Police Officers pulled Tyre over and beat him to death for no good reason. His cousin who saw him in the hospital, swollen and disfigured, like “he was a scary monster.”

<div>All 5 Officers have been fired, and charges ranging from Murder 2 to Kidnapping, have been filed against them. The video of Tyre's murder is set to be released any day now. I would like to warn everyone that the contents of the video are "horrific." However, I am asking people to protest in peace after its release. I don’t want us burning up our cities, and tearing up the streets because that’s not what my son stood for.

Greetings, My name is Ashanti Smith; I am a 28-year-old African American woman who lives in the Washington DC metropolitan  area. I recently was assaulted, attacked and harassed by a group of Trump supporters on Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington DC on January 5th, 2021. A video has surfaced where I was surrounded by a group of Trump extremists, and I honestly feared for my life. The video makes me look like I am the aggressor, but it does not show what happened prior to my defending myself. People shoved me, tried to take my phone and keys, yelled racial epithets at me, and tried to remove my mask. I asked them to social distance and stay out of my personal space due to COVID 19. They refused, and I was afraid of being hurt and harmed. After being assaulted, I defended myself. I am now facing criminal charges along with being relieved from my employment pending an investigation. Which places me in a hardship situation at the moment. My daughter was viciously attacked on Sat 1/9/21 afternoon by a pit bull wearing a service dog uniform. The owner of the dog decided to run from the scene of the crime. I'm begging for justice for my little girl. Ronin is 3 years old and had to get 15 stitches in her face !!! Justice For Ronin.

On May 21st this family of 4 lost everything they own as they watched their beloved house burn to the ground. This wonderful family has  been faced with so many hardships recently, including a cripaling car accident, medical bills and all around bad luck. 
There are 2 sweet little boys that have no where to call home now, they have lost everything. Please help me get this deserving family back on their feet and recover from this incredible tragedy.

When I look at the picture of these two boys sleeping my eyes begin to tear up. It would be different if they were just napping, if they were just two happy boys sleeping in their bed in a stable home with their mother and dog. But they're not. These are two exhausted heros. Their names are Jeremiah (the oldest) and Jacob (youngest). Each day these two brave boys have been going out and working to try to earn money for them and their mother to live off of. They can only afford to live in an RV presently and without a permanent address it makes getting full time work nearly impossible for Jeremiah. They don't have much to work with but they've been going out and finding a way each day. <br /><br />Right now, they are out in parking lots depending on the generosity of others to make money cleaning headlights. They don't make much, but it's all they have and each morning these two brothers are putting their feet to the pavement and their faith in God and going out to provide for their family. Their mother Julie has just recently been seriously injured and is unable to work, so until they can get any government help for her disability this burden has fallen completely on their shoulders. The youngest Jacob is special needs and has to be watched 24/7 by his brother and mother, but he even with his disability he has been able to help his oldest brother take on the enormous task of being the bread winner.<br /><br />I can't tell you how heavy this is on my heart right now. It hurts so bad to be so far away from them here in Memphis and to know that they are out there struggling in Arizona. I am praying to God to please provide for this family. To please provide a way to bring them to a place of stability, to a place without struggle, of not worrying if they'll have enough money to make it through the day. <br /><br />I've never done this before. But there's so much at stake that I feel called to do it. I've never launched two campaigns for the same family, but I know in my heart that they need just one more push; these boys can't carry this load on their own. <br /><br />So now I'm sending out a special prayer for these boys; that God will give them what they need to go out and provide for them and their mother.  Right now they are restricted to jobs in their immdiate area because their vehicle's tranmission is about to fail. But with money to fix that they would become mobile again and the job opportunities would open up. And I know they also need money for supplies and equipment. They've talked about jobs they could do with a good pressure washer and cleaning supplies, etc. <br /><br />Really, I know that with the passion and drive they have for one another the possiblities for them to make money are endless. And I truly believe that with a little help, they can find a way to make a good income until things are stable again. They just need someone to come beind them and believe in them. <br /><br />I believe in them. I believe in everything this family stands for. I believe in miracles and that this family is living proof that God is good, and He will provide. <br /><br />I can only hope to have sons one day that have the hearts of these boys; to take on such a heavy task, and to be so fearless. While we can't take this load from them, with God's help I believe we can help them carry it. <br /><br />The goal is to get them mobile (vehicle repaired) and equipped with cleaning supplies (like a pressure washer) and anything else that they can use to make money. So I'm setting the goal for $500.00 in hopes that it will be enough to repair the car's transmission and buy them the supplies they need.  <br /> ***Update:  I’ve ve just learned that the cost to repair the transmission is actually going to be around $1,000.   Everyone is asking me to raise the goal now in order that the boys will still have some money left over to get some equipment for their business and they live on. Everyone has been so generous and we keep passing the goal, so we’re going to keep raising it in hopes that this will be enough to provide them with they need. ***<br /><br />If you have any ideas for more ways that the boys can earn an income to support themselves, please let me know.
