Butters is a gentle, 10-year-old cat who was abandoned by his owner and left to fend for himself outside after spending his life as an indoor cat. When I found him, he was struggling in the elements, and I started letting him sleep in my office at night to give him some comfort and safety. It breaks my heart to see him in pain—he screams when he tries to eat, his mouth bleeds, and he has lost a lot of weight. I know he needs urgent medical attention, but the costs are overwhelming. I am committed to helping Butters get the care he needs. Donations to this fundraiser will go directly toward vet visits, medication, and any other treatments required to help him recover and live comfortably. I will also cover a good portion of the costs myself, but any support from the community will make a huge difference in Butters’ life. He was always an indoor cat, and suddenly he found himself out in the elements, scared and alone. When I found him, I could see right away that he was suffering. I let him sleep in my office at night because I couldn't bear to see him out there, and I want to give him a safe place to rest. He is in excruciating pain—he screams when he tries to eat, and his mouth bleeds. He has lost so much weight and is clearly miserable. I’m not sure if it’s his teeth or if something like a fish hook is stuck in his mouth, but he won’t let me look at it. It breaks my heart to see him like this, and I know he needs urgent medical care to find out what’s wrong and get the treatment he needs. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward his veterinary care, including exams, possible surgery, and any medication he might need.
