Support for Milly's Funeral Expenses

<font color="#333333">This is Kristen.<br />She has recently been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.<br />For anyone who is lucky enough to know her, knows she is a fighter. With your help, we want to make sure we can take care of her on the home front while she is busy fighting. Her 17 year old son CJ is currently living with her in Long Island New York while her other 3 kids Sam, Alice, and Sydney are living in Florida. They, along with many other family and friends have been taking the time to travel back and forth in order to be with both CJ and Kristen. We want to make sure both her and CJ are completely taken care of in a way they won’t have to stress about anything other than the obstacles in front of them. This money will go toward any medical and household bills. Kristen is loved by so many people and I know so many of you want to help. As of right now this is the best possible way we can fight behind her in this trying and uncertain time. <div>We hate to ask for help, but now we plead with you with broken hearts to <strong>help Kugmo with an expensive medical procedure he needs to fix a separated shoulder</strong>. We'll have to take him to a specialist in Arizona.

<div>My wife and I have always been independent and hard working so we can afford all the supplies and medical expenses we've accrued over the years for our animals, but I'm in sales and the last few years have been really bad due to our economy.

<div>We've already accumulated around $3000 in medical expenses and have been to 5 different vets, had 6 sets of X-rays done and none even noticed his separated shoulder. I had to point it out to them after looking at all his X-rays. Now that we know what's wrong, none of the vets in town could help Kugmo. They all said he'll just have to live with it. To me, that's not an option. I want to see Kugmo run in the park again and be happy.

<div>My last visit to Creature Comforts Animal Hospital on 7/9/24 was a little more productive. Dr. Hussey at least tried to splint Kugmo using the supplies I bought on Amazon. She did an x-ray with the splint on to see if it helped but it did not, and she's not a specialist so she didn't feel comfortable relocating the shoulder and said more than likely it will take surgery. So, she recommended a specialist in Arizona who is exceptional with bearded dragons.

<div>I know these surgeries are expensive. When Mekoo had an egg break inside of her, they wanted to do an ovariohysterectomy and that was going to cost $5000. I have no idea what this is going to cost but anything will help because <strong>I'll have to put it on a credit card and right now we're really overextended</strong>.

<div>I wouldn't give Kugmo up for anything. He's brought so much joy to me and my wife and in some ways helped save our marriage. I'm a grown man crying over a reptile, but I love him so much. I wish the people here knew the love my wife and I shared for Kugmo. He's really like our child, as crazy as that seems.

Give Kugmo a Chance to Run Again

<p class="p1" style="line-height:normal;">My fun loving, generous, and kind husband <br />was diagnosed with metastatic stage IV colon cancer just weeks after we relocated from <br />California to Texas where we sought new adventures and better financial stability for our growing family. He currently has cancer in his colon, appendix, peritoneal lining, and starting in some lymph nodes. It is very rare for men to have this cancer metastasize too their peritoneal cavity, and it’s very critical. We have 4 beautiful <br />young children, Jayden, Eli, IslaLou, and <br />CharlieAnne. Chris has always been a hands on and hugely supportive father to all our children, as well as spending the last 15 years working in the community, doing missions in other countries, and dedicating so much of his love and time for the kids with special needs that he supports daily in his career. <br /><br />We had just moved to Texas and had nothing set up yet. Chris had not started working, and therefore when we received the emergent diagnosis out of the blue, he was forced to move back to California where he still had insurance set up to receive immediate treatment. We are working tirelessly on getting things set up to have him transferred to Texas, but currently he is in California for the next 6 months receiving chemo treatments, and will very likely be unable to work in anyway for at least the next year. The kids, who have always been homeschooled, have now started public school and I am working full time to make ends meet. Charlie is in full time day care at the preschool where i teach. The diagnosis is very bleak and therefore the oncologist has given us his support and encouragement to try any alternative method we can find once Chris is through with chemo. There are so many treatments out there that give us hope for a long and blessed future with Chris by our side, but they are not covered by insurance and so we must come up with the finances ourselves. With Chris unable to work at all this feels like such a huge task. So we very humbly ask for your support to give if you can. But most importantly to pray with us, and to share this page to anyone and everyone. <br /><br />It’s a humbling experience to ask for help in this way and even more truly humbling to see so many of our friends and family give what we know they’ve worked so hard for. Your financial contributions, prayers and sharing this page have gotten us through this time that has been the hardest and most world shattering of our lives. Help Chris BEAT Metastatic Stage IV Colon Cancer

** Hello All, For those of you who dont know Londons story, she was born into this world at just shy of 24 weeks. With the support of an amazing medical team, family and friends, she was able to overcome all the obstacles that were on her road to recovery in the NICU. Most recently London was admitted into Surrey Memorial for Pneumonia, then transferred to Childrens hospital where they did some tests and found Parainfluenza. She was in intensive care but was getting better so moved into the paediatric ward, where a few days later she took a turn for the worst, she was moved back down to ICU, and London was needed to be sedated and put on life support, in critical condition. She is on the maximum support right now in the paediatric intensive care unit. Jade, her husband Cody and family are there supporting their little London, however with Jade not being able to stay in the Ronald McDonald House, the financial burden of hotel stays, food, and parking can add up quickly. These funds are going to help the financial burden of hotels, parking and time off from work to be there for London. London has fought since day one and continues to fight through every obstacle. Even If you are unable to donate, please pray and send all the positive energy to London.
