Sweet Pea is a street cat who was hit by a car across town and found in an apartment complex in December 2025. She was in miserable condition, with a de-gloving injury that tore open her stomach and ripped into her inner left leg. After seeing her story posted on Facebook, I rushed her to Chester Vet, where she received immediate and extensive care. The bill quickly grew as Sweet Pea needed 22 trips back and forth—each 40 minutes one way—for surgeries, debriding, tape worm medication, body wraps, and other treatments. She even developed a respiratory issue at the end of her treatments, requiring additional visits for fluids and medication.
Despite everything, Sweet Pea is now able to act like a happy kitten again. She flips on her back, sticks her tongue out, stands, stretches, and scratches on her Cat Tree. She is now indoors, adopted by me, safe and happy with her Cat Tree/Fort, Cat Cave, stuffed animals Henry and BunBun, and her pink sweater-blankie. Paying off her Chester Vet bill will close her account as paid in full, allowing us to focus on her recovery and happiness without the stress of outstanding costs.
We’d love the help paying the last of her bill off. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps!
