<div>Our Uncle, my godfather Peter passed away recently. Peter Pigott was author of a long line of books including the brilliant See Jane Fly and Fire Eaters.
</div>
<div>He was obsessed with aviation and shared his passion with the world.
</div>
<div>Peter led a life of adventure and was a world traveller.
</div>
<div>One of his greatest talents (that runs in the Pigott fam) was his ability to tell a gripping story with fervour. The room would be entranced. I envied his memory; he would quote poetry, song lyrics and novels. He inspired us by bringing a Dickens or Frost prose into an everyday message. He was a real champion of people he adored and let you know often. This all being said, he was also a genuine goof ball and had a crazy sometimes inappropriate sense of humour.

<div>He left behind amazing and wonderful daughters Holly and Jade and a spirited Granddaughter Aria.
</div>
<div>As well as close knit Sisters, Brother, Cousins and many more.
</div>
<div>His relationship with family brought him true happiness and pride!

<div>Of course, biggest supporter in love and laughter, partner in all things silly and champion of his heart, his best friend and wife Donna.

<div>One of the most wonderful moments for Peter was finding Love again later in life. Peter found this with Donna Hudson. And he really shouted it through the rooftops! And of course, dripping romantic poetry for Donna in true Peter fashion wherever and whenever he could! Love changed his life.
</div>

<div>Donna has a giving nature you can tell when you meet her that there was nothing, she wouldn’t do to make Peter happy.
</div>
<div>The strength it must take to endure watching “your person” drift away more and more every day; You are now the medication provider, primary care giver, nurse, cook and the one that must supply tough love too.
</div>
<div>Donna turned their apartment into a hospice so Peter could have comfort, peace and moments of joy with her, family and friends right till the end!
</div>
<div>We have created this Go fund me for Donna to help with the end-of-life expenses.
</div>
<div>No one talks about how expensive this care can be but of course getting rid of furniture to bring in special machines so your partner can live comfortably is just the beginning. Hiring the special equipment on a month-by-month basis, purchasing the many supplies required, uncovered portions of prescription drugs for months on end it is an overwhelming process and leaves you with a financial burden to struggle with at the end when you are mourning your beloved.

Raising Hope for a Woman Seeking Safety

My name is Justin Kadis and on November 11th 2020, my beautiful partner and love of my life Monique Osier,  suffered a Tonic Clonic Seizure and was rushed to hospital. After a flurry of emergency tests it was determined to be a cancerous brain tumour. She had brain surgery on November 17th and is now in recovery and rehabilitation awaiting chemotherapy. It's a very aggressive tumour and we both have a battle ahead of us.<br />Monique is not going to be able to return to her job as an Acquired Brain Injury Case Manager, ironically, for an undetermined extended period of time. She had been lucky enough to be able to work from home during these tough months of Covid-19. I however wasn't as lucky and was forced to stop working both of my jobs. I will now be her full-time caretaker while we get through these tough times.<br /><br />By donating it will help with the cost of treatment, rehabilitation, prescriptions, rent, food, transportation....basically every area that we need to maintain in order to give Monique the best possible treatment and recovery that she can get. I know many of you out there have had to deal with cancer whether it be personal, a family member, a friend or somebody you know and love. And if you haven't, I pray for you that you never have to. It's frightening and it's just downright unfair to anybody.<br /><br />Monique is the most interesting, intelligent, inspiring, loving and caring, not to mention beautiful person I have ever met. if you don't know her, I hope one day you will get to meet her.

Monique's Courageous Battle Against Brain Cancer

<p>Because of the outpour received from family, friends, and colleagues asking how they can support, we have decided to start a GoFundMe for John Tebbutt &amp; his family for anything they may need during this trying time. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52830094_1606286794604783_r.jpeg" alt="52830094_1606286794604783_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />On December 9th, 2019, John was diagnosed with Stage III muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). Due to his age, he was misdiagnosed three times before ultimately receiving his diagnosis - being diagnosed with bladder cancer at the age of 37 is just not supposed to happen. By the time it was identified, cancer had already spread through the bladder wall. John underwent a transurethral resection and then completed five rounds of chemotherapy. On April 16th, 2020, he had a radical cystectomy (complete removal of his bladder) as well as reconstruction of a neobladder made from his small intestine.<br /><br />John made it a personal goal to "crush cancer by June” - in time for his 37th birthday and to see the Raptors win their second championship.<br /><br />Following his surgery, his prognosis was positive and he returned to working out and teaching throughout the summer. On October 19th, 2020 he went to the ER for what he thought was a kidney stone. Instead, he was told that cancer had metastasized to lymph nodes in his back, his hip, and psoas muscle. John started a pain management regime while his oncologist looked for a clinical trial.<br /><br />On November 6th, 2020, John lost the ability to use his legs. Further tests and scans revealed inoperable tumors on his spine. On Sunday, November 8th he underwent extensive spinal surgery at Toronto Western Hospital to try and alleviate some of the pressure and prevent any neurological side effects and he has remained in the hospital since.<br /><br />Lastly, on November 23rd, 2020, doctors confirmed that cancer has also metastasized to his liver and lungs. He has been given a life expectancy of under three months. John has been removed from cancer treatment with the primary focus now being pain management and keeping him comfortable.<br /><br />Watching John go through his battle with cancer has been truly gut-wrenching. A devoted husband and father, John met his wife Breanna in 2016. If you ask him, time stopped and it was love at first sight. They had a whirlwind romance and welcomed their daughter, Everly, on July 6th, 2017. John immediately jumped into the "girl dad" role and shares an incredible bond with Everly - he’s in his element playing dress up, dolls or watching Rapunzel with her. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52830094_1606286898202734_r.jpeg" alt="52830094_1606286898202734_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

It was an intimate evening ceremony filled with love and laughter. The love John has for both Breanna and Everly is truly something special and he’s often gloating that he’s the luckiest guy in the world. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52830094_1606286931969444_r.jpeg" alt="52830094_1606286931969444_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />John is also a passionate yoga instructor, personal trainer and strength coach who has spent the last fifteen years coaching and teaching others. If you’ve attended one of his classes you know the light, energy, and intensity that he brings to a room. He’s brought these same things to his fight against cancer.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52830094_1606287092180782_r.jpeg" alt="52830094_1606287092180782_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Like many others right now, the Covid lockdowns and restrictions have significantly impacted this family. Not only do both Breanna and John work in the fitness industry, but they have also had to go through John’s treatment in the time of Covid - meaning heightened restrictions and limited visitors/visiting hours. Throughout it all, Breanna has been a steady force of strength holding it down for their family. She has managed to maintain a consistent day-to-day routine for Evie while continuing to support John every way she can as they’ve navigated his evolving treatment together.<br /><br />Simply put, John has touched so many lives and spent years helping others, now it’s our turn to help him. Love & Support for John Tebbutt and Family

Injustice and inequality has plagued the lives of black people for over hundreds of years, as a group of black activists we will no longer be silent. On Sunday 6th June 2020, activists across the country collaboratively protested across the country all taking a knee at 2pm, these protests amassed over 50,000 supporters across the country. This fund is to continue protesting safely across the country so that our voices are heard and action is taken. Following the dismantling of the Colston statue at our Bristol protest, statues of former slave owners have been taken down around the globe. This is a great step, however, this is not enough! All Black Lives UK is a youth led organisation protesting and working towards change across the globe. At the moment our main aim is to protest until our demands are heard but there’s so much more to come. Right now, your donations will be going towards: •PPE to give out on the day •Copies of our demands to hand out to every protestor and passer-by •Banners to increase the presence during the protest •More placards displaying our demands to force the government to listen •Water and refreshments on the day •Hire of PA equipment •Hire of staging Thank you x

I knew from a very very young age that I wasn't and coming out has been the best thing that ever happened to me. The unfortunate part is just that years of Conservative government have led to trans healthcare in and rights in the UK being the worst in Western Europe. It now takes years just to get a referral to a clinic. I know people who have been waiting two years just to get on the waiting list which is as much as 10 years long in parts of the country. That is torturous. Your help and support will allow me to seek care privately so that I can go back to my favourite place on earth, the ocean! Kdogg is a hospital worker aged 21 from Bristol who had just finished a shift at work. He was targeted in a racist attack has been left with multiple injuries and in need of plastic surgery to his face and leg.<br />He was driven at, knocked down and rammed into a wall near Southmead Hospital as he was walking to bus stop after finishing work.<br /><br />Please donate to show solidarity to kdogg KT and his family through this horrific time.
