I'm raising this fundraiser for my disabled mother and my sister, who is a single mother of 6 children. Today they received a 3-day notice for rent, and without help they could lose their housing. My mother uses a wheelchair, has chronic kidney failure, and is on dialysis. She has moved in with my sister, and right now they are both depending on this rent being paid so they can remain in their home.
<br>
<br>
 So much has happened in a short time. In late July, my sister lost her job after reporting sexual harassment by her boss. Around the same time, our father became critically ill with a heart condition, went into cardiac arrest, was placed on life support, then hospice, and has now passed away. We spent about a month in Pensacola, Florida, by our father's side during his final days, and in the middle of all of this my sister has not yet had the chance to get back on her feet with work.
<br>
<br>
 She has applied for unemployment, but no payments have come through yet. With 6 children in school and my mother's dialysis needs, this family is carrying more than anyone should have to carry at one time. The need right now is urgent, because the notice has already been given and the rent was due on the 5th.
<br>
<br><strong>How donations will help:</strong> Every dollar raised will go only toward rent so my mother, my sister, and the children can stay housed during this crisis.
<br>
<br>
 If you are able to give, please know that any amount would help. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much to our family. Thank you for standing with them in this incredibly difficult time.

Rent Help for My Mother and Sister

<div>Hi my name is Lexy! Me and my little family recently moved to Orlando and things have been rocky but we’ve been able to keep up, these last 2-3 months after losing my job and then starting a new one has been rough. My son and I have gotten sick at least every other week at this point and I have to miss work and income. Right now we’re at risk of eviction because of late rent and some legal fees to reverse this process. If anyone is willing to help at all I’m grateful.

<div>We are knocking on your golden hearts to bless the De Guzman-Ong family in the Philippines as they experience a recent loss on Mother's Day 2024 , after their 9 mo-old baby succumbed to Leukemia ( ALL / Acute lymphocytic leukemia)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is the most common childhood cancer. It occurs when a bone marrow cell develops errors in its DNA.
</div>
<div>Symptoms may include enlarged lymph nodes, bruising, fever, bone pain, bleeding from the gums, and frequent infections.
</div>
<div>Treatments may include chemotherapy or targeted drugs that specifically kill cancer cells
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have created this gofundme to bless our good friend Priscilla , or "Prenggay" to her close friend together with her loving husband, Mickey with financial relief during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As you may know, Baby "Enzo" first manifested all symptoms when he was 4 mos old, Prenggay , his mom, decided to request for a CBC count and pediatrician in the Philippines referred Enzo to a Hematology Pediatric Oncologist (Cancer doctor for kids specializing in blood disorder) . Baby Enzo was then asked to have a BMA ( Bone Marrow Aspirate) in Manila and was officially diagnose having Congenital Leukemia -ALL.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Enzo had severe Covid, amoebiasis, worse case scenario: Pneumonia and had allergic reaction to a certain chemo drug and was placed in ICU .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To a mother's heart ache ...baby ENzo had a platelet count of " 4" and a WBC or white count of 0.8 . The exhausted parents have to endure weekly blood transfusion , with the cost of plane flights from their hometown in Bacolod City to Manila and back and fourth, medical bills, and worse is, to every parents' worse nightmare : planning for their child's funeral eventually. They don't want any parents to undergo to this same situation. It is every mother's worse nightmare . The mother of Enzo will forever remember their angel every mother's day .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To add to every mother's day unexpected memory Baby Enzo passed away last May 12, 2024, on Mother's day (Philippine time) .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With the cost of medical supplies, and a low source of income in the Philippines, our friends Preng and Mickey , needs your help as they recover both financially and emotionally .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What makes it worse is, their eldest child , 6 yo Yuan, has Type 1 Diabetes and needs frequent pricking of finger to check his blood sugar regularly to make sure it is within the range.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Prenggay , as a mother, is a talented baker, a former nurse , fulltime hands on mother , visual artist who loves to paint , and a crafty person, who did all means to raise funds for her loving sons but apparently , faith takes its toll .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mickey , on the other hand, is a hardworking nurse , breadwinner and a supportive father of 2 , now facing reality that he has to bury his youngest son and try to be strong for his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you feel touched by God to help Baby Enzo's parents , please feel free to support through this link.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds will be used to cover for funeral cost, recover financial loss due to weekly chemo,radiation,blood transfusion,all related medical bills, wage loss brought by full time care giving to their baby and presently medical supplies for their eldest child Yuan.

Enzo's  gained wings on Mother's day : A Battle with A.L.L .

<div>Dear Friends and Supporters,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Natalie, and I’m reaching out to you in a time of desperate need. Six years ago, I was diagnosed with lung cancer, and despite undergoing surgery to remove a portion of my lung, the cancer has resurfaced, spreading to my liver, kidney, and spine. I am now in stage four of this relentless battle.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>To add to the challenges, my son has recently been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and requires therapy for his condition. Between his needs and my ongoing medical treatment, I am unable to work, and my husband, who has been my rock through this journey, was unfairly laid off for taking time off to care for us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a result, we are struggling to keep up with our mortgage payments and are currently losing our home. We are forced to relocate because we cannot afford to keep up with our bills. It kills me to have to uproot my family and leave our beautiful home. The burden of mounting medical bills for chemotherapy treatment only adds to our financial strain. We are truly facing the most difficult time of our lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are humbly asking for your support during this trying period. Your generous donations will go directly towards covering my medical expenses, securing housing for our family, and providing essential therapy for my son. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are eternally grateful for any assistance you can offer and for standing by us during this challenging time. Your kindness and generosity give us hope and strength to continue fighting.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Sincerely,

</div>

<div>Natalie Berdeguez

<div>I don’t think my wife ever posted this. I don’t think she wanted to worry anyone only a limited of people only knew about it.

<div>  "Dear supporters,

I'm writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude and a heavy heart as well. Since our last update, we've been deeply touched by the outpouring of support and generosity from each and every one of you.

Your donations, messages of kindness, and unwavering support have been a source of comfort during this incredibly difficult time. While my beloved wife Natalie is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the love and support she continues to receive from all of you.

Your contributions have helped ease the burden of medical expenses and provided much-needed assistance during this period of grief and transition. Your generosity has touched our hearts in ways we cannot fully express.

As we navigate this new chapter in our lives, please know that your support has made a profound impact on our family. We will forever cherish the memories of Natalie and the kindness you have shown us during this time of need.

Though Natalie is no longer with us, her legacy of love and resilience lives on. We are eternally grateful for your support and will carry your kindness in our hearts always.

With sincere appreciation, Eric Nieves <br />

Defying Odds: Aid For Our Sister's Recovery

My name is Barbara Mosquera. My Father, Reinaldo Mosquera is a loving man and father to 6 children, was diagnosed and hospitalized in the ICU with COVID-19 in early July after the first phase of business were allowed to reopen and he was required to return to work. He has been hospitalized at Memorial West since July 13 2020 and is currently intubated and on the ventilator. He was initially beginning to show signs of improvement but over the last week he had a tachycardia episode and has been facing kidney failure, fluctuating blood pressure/sugar and his lungs have been showing little to no change. The doctors have given us our last option: to begin kidney dialysis. We are hoping that the dialysis will start him towards the road to recovery. <br /><br />Reinaldo is a loving and hardworking father, friend to many, and firm believer in the Lord. He has spent his entire life working in order to provide a better life for his family. This situation continues to be trying on our family and the looming medicals bills and management of his finances have placed an additional stress on our family; most whom live out of the country and that he worked so diligently to assist monetarily. We solemnly ask for your help and prayers, anything you are willing to give will be greatly appreciated by the whole family. I have set this campaign up for my father for the purpose of covering the immense cost of necessary medical procedures and the continued hospitalization in the ICU, especially because we don't have much financial support from our extended family members who are also going through their own difficulties with money because of COVID-19.<span style="font-size:1.0625rem;">The Mosquera family wholeheartedly thanks each and every one of you who has prayed and kept our father in your thoughts. Thank you for your continued support through this difficult time. Please stay safe and take care of yourselves and others during this unprecedented time. </span><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50511092_1597721409759256_r.jpeg" alt="50511092_1597721409759256_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

Reinaldo Mosquera COVID Hospitalization

<p dir="ltr">On Friday, January 19, 2017 around 6pm our uncle found our dad on the ground by the stairs with lots of blood around him. Our Dad had fainted because his sugar levels dropped; he was diabetic. He cracked his skull and sustained internal bleeding. The bleeding was located in a part of brain that was very difficult to access let alone drain. We waited by his bedside for him to wake up. The following days he showed signs of improvement. He has yet been told was awake, alert and following basic commands from his doctors. Finally on Sunday, the last night before we headed home to Florida our Dad held us closer. He grabbed my hands, pulled my arms and touched my face. He would follow us with his eyes. The following morning at 2:30am we received a call from the hospital our Dad's blood pressure dropped drastically. The doctors couldn't explain what had occurred since he has been showing significant signs of improvement. Numerous test were done; cat scans, EEG and X-rays all in search for answers as to why this had happened. As the results of the test came in the prognosis was getting worse. He was practically brain dead. There was no activity in his brain; therefore it was not sending signals to other parts of his body. He was not breathing on his own and was on a respirator. He was also on a pace maker and not responding to any medication. The doctors said that if he were to wake up there was a 99% probability that he would not be the same. At this point the doctor gave us a set of options. Option A: To let him go in peace and on his own. Option B: To run several tests on his brain to see if there was a way to get him back. However the doctors warned that the test could in fact hurt him more. The doctors added that on his latest cat scan his brain damage was at a level 3. He would have needed to be at level 8 in order to have a 33% probability of coming back to normal. As a family we decided to go with option A. We didn't want him to live in a vegetated state. We wanted him to pass on his own and let God's will take place. Juan Antonio Sandoval, born on 08/08/1948 passed away on 1/30/2017 at 3:55 pm. Our Dad went to heaven where he joined his parents. Our family will miss his smile, his kind heart, his spirit, the hugs, his advice, and his jokes. We will miss seeing him fixing his cars. Most of all we will miss his voice and the way he held us his arms. Another Angel goes to heaven to watch over us. As we prepare to say our final goodbyes we ask all of our friends and family to help us with the funeral arrangements. Every little bit will help and will be deeply and sincerely appreciated it. Thank you all for the prayers, love and support through these hard times. We know that our Dad is now in a much better place. We love you Dad!
