We are looking for assistance with getting back on our feet. We were renting two rooms in a home; however, due to circumstances outside of our control, such as other people who lived there causing unsafe conditions for our children, we were asked to leave the home in December and were given less than 3 weeks' notice to be out as of the 1st of January. The water was shut off in the home on December 24th, so we were not able to stay in the home much longer. We were not able to find a place due to the time of the year along with the timetable given. We honored the request and moved. We both have been doing as much as we can to maintain a roof over our heads. The cost of hotels, along with gas and food for ourselves and our 2 children. We are looking for some help as we have exhausted everything we have. We had to change hotels due to cost, but we are looking to stay at the current one we are in as it has a full fridge and 2 stove top burners so we can cook it’s the best price in the area as we are trying to avoid changing schools for the children. Our goal is to pay for as many days in advance as possible.
