My name is Arianna, and I’m reaching out for help during a really difficult time. I recently lost my job because I said “Free Palestine.” I want to be clear that I wasn’t antagonizing anyone. I was simply exercising my freedom of speech. Unfortunately, this led to me being let go, and since then, it’s been a struggle to find new employment. Some places have misunderstood me, and I’m worried about being unfairly judged, which has made my job search even harder. I am raising these funds for myself, and all donations will be transferred directly to my personal bank account. They will help cover my basic needs like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other living expenses while I continue searching for work. They will also help me support my family and continue working toward my goal of going to college. I hope to pay it forward by contributing a portion of my future earnings to support families in Palestine. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation or sharing my fundraiser.

Support Arianna After Job Loss for Free Speech

Are you tired of seeing your trans friends crowdfund for basic necessities? Do you believe housing is a human right? Do you wish your rent money would go to community instead of a corporate landlord?

Enter: Queer Housing Project

We are a new project based in Portland, OR. Our mission is to permanently house LGBTQIA+ people using the Community Land Trust model and tenant cooperatives. Queer people are twice as likely to experience houselessness than our cishet peers. As more LGBTQIA+ folks move to the Pacific Northwest to flee hostile policies in other states, it is important we create the infrastructure necessary to absorb everyone.

This initial round of fundraising is to establish public interest, assist in forming a board, pay legal fees for filing to incorporate as a non-profit, and create community-focused fundraising events to engage the broader community.

We are currently in the process of establishing partnerships with other community-focused organizations in Oregon. Please contact us if you would like to be involved in building this project.

We Keep Us Housed

My name is Malcolm. I'm an actor, voice actor, content creator, and storyteller based in Los Angeles.

I know how to use my voice. I know how to perform. I know how to create something that makes people think, laugh, question, feel something. I've been building toward that — not waiting on anyone to save me, just trying to get the room to focus on what I'm capable of.

I've been juggling gig work, bills, and creative work, keeping everything moving. Then a car accident happened while I was working. My car isn't just how I get around — it's how I earn. When it's down, my income is down, and so is the energy I have left for the work I actually want to be doing.

I'm not asking for a handout. I'm asking for a bridge.

To be transparent about the $4,000 goal: this isn’t one single bill. It’s meant to help me recover from the financial chain reaction the accident created — including car-related expenses, bills I fell behind on while my income was disrupted, and enough breathing room to get back to earning consistently instead of constantly playing catch-up.

I’m still working and doing what I can on my end. This fundraiser is meant to help close the gap, not replace the work I’m already doing.

Here's what I do:

•Cultural commentary through short-form content

• Video editing and content creation for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube

• Storytelling rooted in humor, honesty, and real-life perspective

Your support helps me:

- Cover accident-related transportation and car expenses so I can keep working.

- Catch up on living expenses that became harder to manage after my income was disrupted.

- Create enough financial breathing room to stop operating in constant survival mode.

- Protect the time I need for auditions, voiceover work, and content creation — the work I’m actively trying to build into something more sustainable.

Even smaller donations make a real difference. $10 can help put gas in the car for another workday. $25 or $50 can go directly toward transportation or an overdue expense. Larger donations give me more room to replace hours spent chasing immediate gig income with auditions, creative work, and opportunities that can actually move me forward.

You don’t have to solve the whole problem. Every contribution helps move one piece of it.

You're not just donating because something bad happened. You're helping a Black creative stay in motion, protect the work he's built, and keep pushing toward something bigger than survival mode.

What reaching $4,000 would mean for me is pretty simple: getting the immediate car and financial pressure under control, catching up on the expenses that piled up after the accident, and getting back to a place where every decision I make isn’t based on what bill has to be handled next.

That breathing room would let me spend more of my time doing the work I’ve spent years building toward — acting, voiceover, creating content, and pursuing opportunities that can make this setback temporary instead of becoming my new normal.

Thank you for reading, sharing, donating, or just sending encouragement. It means more than you know.

— Malcolm
