<div>Hi everyone! My name is Jillian, I’m creating this on behalf of my momma Nancy. As some of you may know, she has been battling lung cancer for the past three years. The last three years she was back and forth from doctors appointments, chemo, and radiation appointments. She was doing great at managing everything and was able to do things independently.

<div>On Friday 1/26 she suffered an acute life threatening injury. She was transported to baystate around 2am Friday morning by the Agawam paramedics and EMT team. 
</div>

<div>She was immediately transported up to the ICU at baystate where she spent two days on a ventilator. Throughout the day the doctors were doing everything they could for her. Her blood pressure was unable to be sustained on its own, her kidneys weren’t concentrating, and she wasn’t breathing effectively. After multiple scans, the doctors found her cancer to be more extensive and aggressive than we had initially known. She has stage 4 lung cancer with brain metastases and to other areas in her body.

<div>The doctors believed she suffered from multiple seizures due to the radiation on her brain mets which caused them to swell and inflame, resulting in seizures. Friday night we got the news that she would most likely not make it through the weekend as soon as she was to come off the ventilator.

<div>The next day she was alert and awake, and her body did a full 180. She was recovering from the acute illness and was able to come off the ventilator. A day after, she got transferred out of the ICU where she stayed on a cardiac floor. The plan 1/31 is for her to come home and continue life as normal as possible like before. 
</div>

<div>We are planning to start her on hospice care due to the prognosis of her cancer, the time is still limited with her. We are asking for any help to pay for her car bill, services, medical bills etc. Anything to help relieve the stress off her shoulders of all these finances. We thank you guys for all of the support. ❤️

<div>I also want to personally thank everyone for the ongoing support and love that I’ve received. Although the news still isn’t the best, I am so grateful to have this bonus time with her. I thank everyone that has reached out and offered support to me, knowing that I have such a great support system around me has helped tremendously. ❤️❤️❤️

<div>Lady is a one year old pitty fully of life and some bad ideas . She thought jumping out a moving car window was a great idea , She soon found out that it wasn't when she landed and broke her back leg. She broke the top part of her right leg , which only surgery can fix. Her owner , like most owners does not have that kind of means. He tried for the care credit and couldn't get because of lack of credit. So lady is waiting for surgery with a broken leg and in pain. So we are trying to raise the money here.

<div>To remove her leg :( Would be 2000-3500 , But to fix the leg would be 4500-6000. She is a young dog with a lot of life infront of her, we would be grateful to save your leg vs removing.

<div>Lady has another appt Monday with a vet that might be a little cheaper then the last two quotes. Time is against lady because the longer she goes the worse the leg muscles will get , we have only a few days to try to help her.

<div>I could not imagine feeling helpless watching her sit with a broken leg,knowing she is in pain while you dig up the means to save her.
</div>
<div>Lady is the reason Brandon likes to go home, she is his best friend that always greets him at the door with her tail going a mile a minute...

<div>After Mondays appt - I will update which vet will do the surgery incase people would rather call in the donation straight to the vets office. Thinking starting this up would help with an idea of saving the leg vs taking the leg. We are not looking to raise any more then what is needed. I will update here any donations straight to the vet and stop this fundraiser so it doesn't go over goal.

URGENT !! Please help save Lady's leg

<div>I am trying to help the AMAZING Colleen O'Donnell raise funds so she can achieve one of her dreams and goals to raise awareness about organ donation. Colleen wants to complete an organized bicycle ride in Ohio to help spread the awareness and importance of signing up to become an organ donor. 
</div>

<div>This subject is very near and dear to her heart because on May 7, 2017, she was the recipient of a kidney and pancreas from a donor. Colleen was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a child and has had many medical challenges throughout her life due to complications that started to impact her kidneys, pancreas and overall quality of life, significantly. Colleen had to endure dialysis (a lot of dialysis) and a lot of struggles prior to receiving the organs from her donor......he was a 26 year old male (she hasn't been notified regarding who her donor was yet) and we're forever grateful for his priceless gift. It's now Colleen's mission to spread awareness and try to get as many people possible on board to sign up to become organ donors.

Colleen no longer suffers from diabetes and she has been doing very well. She has had a few illnesses here and there, but she's Wonderwoman and comes back fighting, every time. </span><br />
