My name is KayLynn, and I am reaching out for support for myself, my husband, and our 4-year-old son. In April, I was placed on a medical leave of absence due to a seizure disorder and cannot return to work until I am cleared by a neurologist. Right now, I don’t know how long this process will take, and it’s been a difficult adjustment for our family. I was the main source of income for our household, and my husband is currently a full-time doordasher but is also looking for full-time work to start instead. With a young child at home, the uncertainty has been especially hard. We are seeking help to cover our essential expenses during this time.
