<div>Our sweet Marley, a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, is the heart of our family. From the moment we brought her home, she’s been my shadow — following me from room to room, lying at my feet, “woo-wooing” when she’s happy, and always greeting me with a wagging tail and a smile that shows all her teeth when she’s excited. She loves cookies, belly rubs, and snuggling with her little brother Milo (who she once hated, but now can’t live without).

<div>A few weeks ago, our world shattered when Marley was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma, an aggressive cancer of the lymphatic system. Without treatment, she may have only 1–3 months. But with CHOP chemotherapy, she has an 85–90% chance of going into remission and could have many more happy adventures filled with love, play, and adventures.

<div>The cost of this treatment at OSU is estimated to be at least $7,000–$8,000, which includes medications, office visits, and lab work. We’ve been searching for financial assistance and clinical trials, but time is critical. Marley has already started medication to keep her comfortable, and we need to make a decision quickly before prednisone reduces the effectiveness of her chemo.

<div>We don’t like asking for help, but this is for our girl—the “Sam to my Frodo.” Marley has given us nothing but unconditional love, and now she needs us to fight for her. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her CHOP chemotherapy at the Frank Stanton Veterinary Spectrum of Care Clinic at OSU.
