Eight rescue animals lose their home on February 28. €38,000 secures a legal exit from a hostile lease and stops eviction. Without it, five Great Pyrenees and three cats are displaced. If you can’t donate, sharing is truly lifesaving. For over a year, I’ve cared for these animals independently while fighting a landlord who refuses to fix a failing roof that leaks rainwater into our living space. Legal remedies failed. Temporary repairs failed. Now he is threatening eviction. Over the last 18 months, I pulled 23 dogs and cats from abandonment and medical neglect. Mange. Parasites. Parvo. Nineteen survived and found homes. Eight remain here because no one else would take them. They are my family now. And we are out of time. What the funds secure: Minimum to prevent displacement (by Feb 28): €38,000 (legal exit + obligations) Full stabilization goal once the property is secured: another 13k equals €51,000 total (internal structural repair + roof repair and winter vet buffer) If we reach this goal: The sanctuary stays intact. The landlord chapter ends. These animals keep the only stable home they’ve known. If we do not: Eviction proceedings move forward, and I have nowhere safe to take them. Between rent, utilities, and feeding 8 animals, we spend approximately €2,500 per month on basic structural upkeep and food alone. That does not include veterinary emergencies, transportation, or daily living expenses. This is not a rescue plea. This is about turning survival into permanence. This campaign has received public support from: Samuel Weidenhofer (journalist and humanitarian) Kristin Bauer (actress, True Blood) David Labrava (actor, Sons of Anarchy) Davey Oberlin (musician, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, All the Damn Vampires) Paulina Pinsky (author) Peter Majerle (MinnPost journalist) They reviewed the situation and spoke publicly. You can watch their messages below. SAMUEL WEIDENHOFER'S SUPPORT VIDEO KRISTIN BAUER'S SUPPORT MESSAGE The other videos being uploaded soon. All video messages were recorded voluntarily after reviewing the situation. The number is real. The deadline is real. The support is now visible. I am not asking to be rescued. I am asking to close this chapter correctly. Thank you for stepping in. Full story and documentation: https://ravenrescues.com/
Emergency Roof Repair Needed to Keep 9 Rescue Animals Safely Housed After months of temporary fixes, the roof of our home is no longer holding. Pieces of the wall have begun to fall away. Recent storms have worsened the leaks to the point that the upstairs is unsafe during heavy rain, and we are all sleeping downstairs to avoid flooding and mold exposure. Unless emergency repairs are made, nine rescued animals — six dogs and three cats — will lose their only safe home. What’s happening right now The contractor has confirmed that once a €2,200 deposit is paid, emergency roof repairs can be scheduled immediately. The full estimate is €6,000, but due to the urgency of the situation, the contractor agreed to begin work with this reduced upfront payment. Current status Raised so far: €205 Still needed: €1,995 This fundraiser is specifically for the emergency deposit, not the full renovation. Who we are These are not ordinary pets. They are Great Pyrenees and livestock guardian dogs — gentle giants who were abandoned, starved, and left to die. We bottle-fed, rehabilitated, and rebuilt their trust. Today, they depend entirely on us. I’m Kaya, a long-term rescuer with over three years of documented rescue work. Despite serious personal setbacks, we never abandoned animals who had nowhere else to go. Now the roof over all of us is failing. Your impact €25 helps cover emergency medication €50 helps keep the animals safely sheltered during storms €100+ moves us significantly closer to scheduling repairs Why you can trust this fundraiser Contractor estimate available; invoices will be posted once work begins 3+ years of documented rescue history (23 animals saved) Veterinary records for all animals Ongoing photo and video updates Thank you This house is the only safe place these animals have ever known. Once the deposit is raised, repairs can begin immediately. Thank you for reading — and for sharing if this reaches the right person.
