‼️UPDATE‼️Yesterday Charlie and Myself received the BEST phone call ever! All his bloods were well enough to have the treatment approved in Germany! This is only the start of the journey! We have a treatment plan for the first session of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for the liver metastases and one session of regional chemotherapy targeting the presacral tumor. We have cost of £29526 for this first treatments and now all we do is sign the contracts and the doctor can potentially have Charlie in for the procedures in Frankfurt university hospital as soon as November. We will return in a month for PET CT Scan to discuss the next treatment of just TACE. We are emotional, overwhelmed but more than anything so happy. This is only the start of his journey and hopefully raise enough in the fundraiser to continue the treatment to the end. We as a family, honestly cannot express how thankful we are for everyone for the unconditional love, support and helping us raise these funds to keep him here with our beautiful girls. Germany here we come ✈️
