I am raising funds for a colony of feral cats that I care for. There are seven cats in the colony, and two of the females have recently had babies. One of the cats is limping and needs to see a vet right away. My goal is to get them all the care they need—vet visits, spaying and neutering, and enough food to keep them healthy. I also hope to find forever homes for the kittens and any adults who are ready for adoption. I first got involved when I saw one of the cats eating bird seed out of the dirt. It started with feeding one, and then the colony expanded as people began dropping off more cats. It’s important to me that every animal be treated with compassion and empathy. They deserve to have the best life possible, and I truly believe that if you can’t love animals, you can’t truly love yourself. The funds raised will go directly toward vet care, food, and helping these cats find loving homes. "Hello, my name is [Kathleen Adonai], and I'm caring for seven outdoor cats. One recently had a litter of kittens, and another is pregnant. I’m doing my best to provide them with food, vaccinations, and flea medicine, but the costs are , adding up quickly. I want to make sure these cats stay healthy and have what they need. Any help you can give—whether it’s a donation or sharing this page - I found out if you are feeding them by law you have to vaccinate & get them fixed or animal control will pick them up and euthanize them in my area. I promise every donation will go to the care of these cats, and hoping I will be able to find them all forever homes. Right now their biggest need is flea medicine, all of them are infested with fleas, and ticks, I bought their flea medicine last month, I usually get them Revolution, plus because it takes care of fleas, ticks, ear mites, lice, mange, heart worm, round worms, hook worms and tapeworms, it's about twenty five dollars a tube, this will definitely give them relief from parasites. Greetings, my name is Kathleen and this plea for help is coming from my heart. You know the saying, it takes a village to raise a child? Sometimes it takes the community to help a stray cat that I named Cheerio. This poor cat has had an awful life from the beginning. Dropped off as a six-month-old kitten, I saw him starving, eating out of the dirt bird seed. I vowed that cat would never go hungry again. Due to the elements of the area, though, this cat has encountered a hell that no one could imagine. I've tried my best to keep up with flea medicine and dewormer, but this cat is in need of a lot more help. Cheerio is afraid of everything due to all the trauma he has encountered. He's afraid of even the birds. I know you're wondering why I haven't taken him in, but I already have three cats, and that would really be pressing it with the landlord. I am willing to help meet the desired amount, but I can't do this on my own. Cheerio has a bad infection and he is going blind. This is going to cost a lot to make him better and the most important part is he will not be suffering. If I am able to raise the money to get him better, I vow to find this amazing cat a home.
