<div>Our family, <strong>Dan and Kara Marsh</strong>, lost their beloved home in Altadena, California, to the devastating wildfire that swept through the area on January 8, 2025. While we are incredibly grateful that Dan, Kara, and their three dogs made it out safely, they have lost nearly everything they owned in this tragedy.

<div>Dan and Kara are currently staying with friends while trying to process this overwhelming loss. Their home, which has very much been at the center of what they have been doing for the last few years, along with almost all of their belongings, has been reduced to ashes. Anyone who knows Dan and Kara knows how much they put into their home and how much it meant to them.

<div>Those of you who know Dan well also know he isn’t really the type to ask for help from others, but we know how much they are going to need support, so we are organizing this fundraiser to help them begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives. <strong>The road ahead will be challenging as they navigate insurance claims, find temporary housing, and eventually start the process of recovering in an area where everyone has lost so much. </strong>
