What they care about

I embrace the adventure of the unknown am willing to go and use my nursing skills to help the under served communities of the world.

My name is Kaitie, and this October 2026, I have been given an incredible opportunity to join Adventist Health Global Missions on a surgical medical mission trip to a remote region of Argentina. We will be helping provide much-needed general surgeries to indigenous communities that have limited to no access to medical care, especially for surgical needs. Medical missionary work was the primary reason I chose to become a nurse, and this is the first time that dream has had the chance to become a reality. I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve in this way and to be part of care that could truly change lives. I am raising funds to help cover the travel costs that make this mission possible. The main trip expenses include lodging, food, ground transportation, and roundtrip airfare from a California airport to Argentina. I also need to cover a separate roundtrip ticket from Portland, Oregon, to the California airport where the mission group will depart. If you feel led to support me, I would be so thankful for any help you can give. Every donation, prayer, and share helps bring me one step closer to serving these communities and living out the calling that led me into nursing in the first place.
