Hi to all my wonderful & generous supporters!
Your support and donations mean so much to me and are helping me reach my goals on my road to recovery.
You have been fantastic, and I am grateful & humbled by friends, family and community that have come togethet and are standing by me.
Unfortunately, my latetest CT Scan did not show my Acetabular fracture to be at 100% yet, therefore it doesn't appear my hip replacement surgery wiil happen until possibly January 2027. Until then, I'll continue to need my wheelchair to ambulate.
My next CT Scan is the end of November and I'm praying for a declaration of "100% healed." Until then, I need help at home, cooking, cleaning, laundry, getting back & forth to appointments, grocery shopping, all the tasks we hate doing, yet take for granted, until we can't do them.
My MediCal Share of Cost for In Home Supportive Services is $1338/month before MediCal will cover me. It is, difficult, no, it is impossible, for me to afford that amount on my Social Security each month.
I am asking my supporters to share my GoFundMe page and link to your communities, as I need to be able to reach others that may want to help, so I may continue receiving caretaking services, at least through January 2027.
These past 8 months have been hard for me. As you may well know, I am not a sedentary person. Prior to this past January, when I fractured my hip, I was very active in the Altadena community post-Eaton Wildfire, supporting the elderly residents in my apartment building here in 'Dena. I miss being in the community, interacting with everyone, as the rebuild and recovery process progresses.
I truly appreciate all of you.
Thank you again for your care and support. If you pray, please pray with me for complete healing of my hip. If you don't pray, please send positive vibes to my hip.
Blessings❤️
