My girlfriend, who I hope to soon call my fiance, and I have been together for eight years. We never imagined that a routine trip to the emergency room for stomach pain would turn our world upside down. After a series of tests, doctors discovered a large tumor, and she was immediately rushed into surgery. Hearing the word 'cancer' has left us both in shock, and the uncertainty of what comes next is overwhelming.

Help Tacoma Child Recover from Tragic Halloween Accident

I am writing on behalf of my brother Nick, who was recently diagnosed with kidney cancer and will be undergoing surgery to have his kidney removed soon. As some of you may know, I am a recent breast cancer survivor, so learning this news has been devastating for our entire family.

<div>Nick had gone into the hospital a month ago for what he believed to be the flu, but upon further testing, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. His tumor is currently 11 cm and aggressive.

Many projects, ideas and friendships have been born here. When I started working at Metro in 2006 I never expected to be the owner one day. When I took over ownership in 2009, I made it my mission to maintain that home and share it with the community. Metro has since then provided a space where people can relax and tuck themselves away from a hectic world. Don’t feel like I have many customers but a ton of new and old friends. Well friends, I need your help.

While I survived the bulk of Covid the effects still linger here on campus with many classes online or hybrid to this day. Summer quarter saw the brunt of this with only 10% of classes in person. Sales suffered and with it my income. June, July and August saw me putting all my savings and additional outside resources in to Metro to keep it operational until school started back in the fall.

<p>My sweet niece Caitlin suffered a brain aneurysm yesterday while my family was  getting ready for my father’s funeral. She has suffered a stroke and is paralyzed on her  left side. She is currently in the ICU in Sacramento - where she  most likely stay for a while.  Since we were all in Sacramento from San Diego the only way her mom, dad and fiancé can be with her is to stay at a hotel. They also need a rental car for their long stay. Caitlin Roth’s - Help with Emergency Funds

If you know Sonja, you know she's a strong, independent woman that never asks for help. You know that when she does, she must REALLY need it. <br /><br /><strong>We recently got the news that Sonja's cervical cancer has returned, and she will need multiple major surgeries immediately to remove the cancer, as well as therapy after recovery.</strong><br /><br />The first time Sonja had cervical cancer, <strong>she worked FULL TIME</strong> in between surgery, chemo, and radiation, not to mention raising two beautiful girls. <strong>This time is different. This time Sonja cannot carry this burden alone. </strong><br /><br />As a single parent of two growing girls, she needs the space to breath, relax and take care of herself so she can be there for her daughters. The funds that we raise will primarily go to covering her rent for the next several months, so we can take one major expense off her plate and allow her to get the rest she needs to recover.<br /><br />Her first surgery is in two weeks and we'd really like to get the funds to her ASAP. We know times are tough for everyone right now, so know that every cent you donate is massively appreciated.

People suggested we start a page for our son Jackson Brian Kuhn. He is 4 years old, he was born without an anus, but after being home with us for a 1.5 months after birth he became very ill and was diagnosed with a twisted bowel where he had to have mostly all of his bowel removed. He spend over 7 months in the hospital. We have been in and out of York Hospital, Johns Hopkins, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and Hershey Medical Center. We have struggled to find nursing care for him, and financially causing a lot of stress for the family. He’s a strong boy already and is going to put up a strong fight. Asking for love, prayers, support and good vibes. The Luevanos need help with unexpected medical expenses. Unfortunately in January of 2017 Krystal noticed something unusual in her breast. Just having turned 30 and with no family history breast cancer was definetly not on her radar. She made an appointment immediately and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, After further testing MRI showed lesions on the liver. Diagnosis is now stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, being treated with chemotherapy.<br />Currently April of 2019 Krystal has gone through many treatments that are no longer successful. Her most recent scans showed progression in her spine. She is planning on starting a trial through UCLA and will continue on chemo as long as it’s working which could be the rest of her life. Love, Help and support is still greatly appreciated as she continues on this unknown journey. After a long battle with cancer, her mother passed away last academic year and this morning she received word from back home that her father had fallen ill and passed away today.<br /><br /> <br /><br />Malaika is an incredible human being who has already overcome many obstacles. As a senior at Pomona College, she is 3 months away from her graduation and, being the eldest of two younger sisters, will have to navigate her way and find alternative means of support. One of her sisters is in her first year of college, the other in her first year of high school. With her permission I am creating this GoFundMe account and I kindly ask you to donate to her family. She has been one of the most dynamic students I have ever known and has given so much of herself. My name is Carolyn Mills of Smyrna, Georgia, Malik’s aunt and sister to Malik’s mother.
