<div>Hi!  My name is Juan, and I’m a dancer, choreographer, teacher, researcher in contemporary dance, and audiovisual creator. 
</div>
<div>Over the past 14 years, I’ve performed and collaborated with artists and companies around the world, sharing work that explores identity, community, and human experience. Through my art, I strive to build spaces where people can connect, reflect, and be inspired.

<div>My artistic interests are rooted in gender and racial identity, contact improvisation, choreography, and filmmaking — all as part of a lifelong commitment to exploring how movement can connect, challenge, and transform us.

<div>Why Am I Raising Funds
</div>
<div>As an international artist, I’m required to maintain a valid visa to continue my creative work in the United States. 
</div>
<div>Living and working here has allowed me to collaborate with diverse communities, share stories that celebrate identity and resilience, and contribute to the rich artistic ecosystem that has welcomed me so generously. Renewing my visa will make it possible for me to keep teaching, performing, and creating projects that foster cultural exchange, belonging, and mutual understanding through dance.

Your support will help cover the expenses required for my visa renewal and allow me to continue contributing to the artistic and cultural life of the communities that have become my home.
