My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer, and our lives have changed overnight. As his caregiver, I am currently on FMLA from work so I can be by his side and help him through every step of this difficult journey. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to stay strong for each other. The costs of treatment, medications, and regular doctor visits are adding up quickly. On top of that, we are struggling to keep up with rent, food, and transportation expenses. With me unable to work right now, it’s been a challenge to make ends meet and ensure my husband gets the care he needs. Every day is a fight—not just against cancer, but also against the stress of not knowing if we’ll be able to pay for his treatment or keep a roof over our heads. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help. Any bit of support you can offer will make a huge difference in our lives.
