<div>My heart aches as I share the devastating news of a catastrophic car accident that has shattered the lives of a local family.

<div>Our friend and US Army Veteran, Tomas Contreras, was involved in a horrific crash at the end of Dec that tragically claimed the lives of his wife, Tracy, and their precious 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Eva while driving to the airport from visiting family, in order for Tomas to get his disability rating from the Department of Veteran Affairs.

<div>Tracy and Eva passed away on impact in the car accident early Saturday, December 28th. Tomas was critically injured and put into a medically induced coma. Tomas himself has just recently been released from the hospital after being in the trauma ward, battling massive injuries sustained in the accident. Both of his arms still in casts while he recovers from multiple surgeries.

<div>This unimaginable tragedy has left Tomas facing not only the profound grief of losing his family but also the daunting challenge of a long and arduous recovery. As he fights for his life, he needs our support now more than ever.

Our immediate goal is to raise funds to cover the funeral expenses for his wife and daughter, ensuring they are laid to rest with the dignity and love they deserve. While they could be buried in a Veteran Cemetery, Tracy made him promise to bury them in a specific cemetery long before this accident. Beyond that, the funds raised will be crucial in supporting Tomas' recovery, including medical expenses, rehabilitation, and any other unforeseen costs that may arise as he navigates this heartbreaking journey.

Catastrophic Accident takes Wife and Daughter from Veteran

Early in the morning on Thursday, July 16, 2020, Scott, my brother found that Sandy, his wife of almost 1o years, had unfortunately passed  away during the night. It came very suddenly and unexpectedly, as Sandy was a healthy 60 -year-old woman. Even though Sandy worked to help others with life insurance and wills, she did not have the chance to purchase life insurance for herself, leaving it very difficult for Scott to provide the proper send-off that she deserves. Although Sandy and Scott had some challenges in their relationship, he cared very deeply for her, and would like to give her the proper tribute to her life that she deserves. Sandy loved life and she leaves behind her mother, brother and daughter Ashley and her two beautiful grandchildren and step children. Sandy loved to make people laugh and she was always smiling, even though she is gone I hope and pray that she is still laughing telling jokes, and smiling down on all of us.  If you could please find it in your heart to help our family it would be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />Due to Covid 19 it has made everything very expenses and has cause many delays that are costly too. Sandy has been in limbo for about 2 weeks now ,and we just want to get her to her final resting place as soon as possible. if you can find it in your heart to donate please do.  thank you and god bless you.

Funeral Expenses for Sandy Fey Hoke

While on the way to a job interview, that Josh was very excited for, he was struck by a vehicle while he was walking in the cross walk. He was severely injured. He will need extensive rehab and physical therapy for all of his injuries. He will not be able to work or even go on another job interview for a very long time. Anyone who knows Josh, knows that he has a heart of gold. He is the most generous person. He would give you his last dollar if he knew you had none. He is the most selfless person, and is always thinking of what he can do for others. Josh does not like to ask for help, but we are asking for help for him because he needs it. He will not be able to earn an income and he now has to buy new hearing aids which were damaged in his accident. He will be in the hospital for a long time followed by a long rehab, which will be very costly. No amount is too small to help. Let's all help out this amazing man who is always first to help any of us when we need it! We appreciate any donations to help him out. Thank you!

<br />Tayler Maggi, just turning 18 was involved in a terrible accident, Thursday night, April 14th. It was a normal night for Tayler and his girlfriend Lauren. They were on their way home from picking up dinner at a near by restaurant. As Tayler pulled out on Alice towards Central, a nearby car started shooting towards Tayler and his girlfriend. The car contained 3 unidentified boys around the age of 19, with no realization of who Tayler and Lauren were. As one of the men fired, Tayler did everything in his power to escape the 10 gunshots that were fired his way. Unable to avoid getting hit, Tayler took a gun shot to the head and swerved into a wall across the street. Lauren was blessed to be okay and received help within minutes. Tayler is still in critical condition and fighting hard for his life. As he undergoes many procedures we ask you to keep him in your mind and prayers. We also ask for a donation of money that will be put towards Tay, his medical bills and living expenses, which are piling up as we speak. We can only continue to pray that Tay makes a recovery and that those who are responsible will receive the justice that they deserve.

With great sadness sweet little JJ is now in heaven and did not pull through.<br /><br />My dear friend Jericho and his amazing wife Shayla are wonderful parents and this will be a loss that ripples through his community, family and home.
