<div>Camp Liberty is working hard to build a two story 60' x 28' Fitness Center. The Fitness Center will include a gym, classroom and indoor rock-climbing / rappel training area.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The "Camp Liberty Fitness Center" will be built next to our swimming pool, allowing for a centralized space for our gym equipment. The facility will be air conditioned and heated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is an exciting addition to Camp Liberty for our Cadets, Cadre and year-around military/law enforcement/ EMS and civilian visitors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is a design rendition of the building.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have installed a 60' x 30' concrete slab, with help from previous donations. From there, the building will be erected (hopefully in April of 2026 when we have Cadets on-site for Service Support).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We then need to finish the building with electricity / water and climate control. This is an expensive endeavor, especially the cost of concrete for the slab. <strong>Without assistance, we will have to wait until at least 2027 or 2028 to start this project</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our goal is to get the basic building contracted before the end of 2025. </strong> To do so, we must raise $5,000 for the deposit and another $30,000 before summer. That would cover the Basic building, windows and doors.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a significant project, in addition to our current focus on the new 12,000 sf Citizen Hall. Therefore, we are asking the Camp Liberty family and friends to assist as you can. Every little bit helps, so please pass this along to family and friends. <strong>If someone would like to underwrite the entire basic project at $50,000, naming rights are available. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The new <strong>Camp Liberty Fitness Facility</strong> is a critical addition that will also allow us to continue to provide exceptionally high-quality fitness training.

</div>
<div>We have started the transition to the <strong>Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System</strong>, which is the Army's primary investment in Soldier readiness and lethality, optimal physical and non-physical performance, reduced injury rates, improved rehabilitation after injury, and increased overall effectiveness of the Total Army.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have a "modge-podge" of equipment to be added to the building. The next phase will be acquiring sufficient equipment to ensure we are able to provide a high-quality location. In time, this facility will be a key site for Cadets and recruits throughout the summer Training Mission. With young people from around the world attending programs at Camp Liberty, it is critical that we have the right facility to best serve their fitness needs.

<div>At the 2:30 am on Tuesday, January 2nd, Ruben's Bakery &amp; Mexican Food, located on N. Santa Fe Avenue in Compton, CA, was ransacked by a mob of people participating in a nearby street takeover, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars of loss. The damage was extensive and devastating - from the security gate and the walls that were knocked down to the merchandise and store equipment that was robbed. This couldn't have come at a worse time as the owners continue to work hard to recover economically from the COVID-19 Pandemic and during a peak season for their business.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Ramirez Family is asking for your support to help get the business back on their feet as soon as possible, as they have established deep roots in the community over the last 48 years. Every day closed is resulting in the loss of thousands of dollars of revenue, a financial hit that the family cannot afford to endure for too long. In addition, the impact is going to hurt all their employees, who are without work until the rebuild process is completed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any support is appreciated with all proceeds from this GoFundMe account will go directly to the Ramirez family. The family will be sharing the proceeds with their employees too.

<div>Hi, my name is Jeff Rasor, and my 83-year-old father was attacked by a thief while exiting the Home Depot he worked at. Dad died as a result of the injuries sustained. I am trying to raise funds for medical expenses, funeral expenses, family travel expenses, and some reward money so we can speed up the process of bringing his assailant to justice. We might include hiring additional resources to assist the local police department. My family and I thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Grandpa Gary Gone Too Soon

<div>On Sunday September 25 around 3:00pm Sharon Louise Lux passed away and went with god and the angels. Our family is devastated at the loss of our matriarch and needs all the prayers, well wishes, and love from friends and family. At this time we are asking for assistance with the funeral expenses as we lay her in her final resting place.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sharon was devoted to helping anyone and everyone that would come in her path. As a healing arts practitioner, Reiki and card reading gave her purpose and meaning in life. She spent countless hours sending energy healing to people around the world. She was loved and cared for by her husband Fred. She has 3 sons to carry on and share her spirit, Freddy, Joey, and Mikey. She leaves behind 6 beautiful grandkids, Joey, Aaron, Juliet, Kiley, Jessie, and Kelsey. Her sister Pam and brother Rich are also mourning the loss of their sister. She will be missed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funeral arrangements have been made.
</div>
<div>The wake will be held:
</div>
<div> Friday September 30, 2022 from 4:oopm - 8:00pm, with service at 7:00pm.

<div>On Tuesday, December 7th, while at school, Kenny was involved in a horrific accident. Unfortunately, his hand got caught in a saw while cutting wood and it was later amputated at the hospital.
</div>
<div>Kenny is an Army veteran, father, and husband. A man trying to build a better life for himself and his family. He loves cooking, working hard, and spending time with his son , teaching him the skills as he goes .
</div>
<div>Kenny was in technical school for construction, with goals of opening his own business after graduation and purchasing his first home with his wife.
</div>
<div>This tragedy has not only effected Kenny’s mental health, but has also effected his ability to work and support his family. Despite him being a strong individual and staying in good spirit.
</div>
<div>We would like to raise some money to help Kenny get on his feet, pay some bills, and help his family get through this holiday season.
</div>
<div>We want to help Kenny reach his goals despite this horrific accident.

Rucking 50 for 22 Warriors

<p><strong>THIS IS AN EXTREMELY TIME-SENSITIVE OPPORTUNITY</strong>
</p>
<p>
</p>
<p><strong>BLUF:</strong> There is a <strong>12,000 square foot</strong> modular building available for $70,000. The building has been at the Tennesee Valley Authority in Athens, Alabama. It was purchased at auction by a private buyer, who is now backed against the wall to sell it ASAP, as it MUST be moved within 30 days. <strong>The total costs for this incredible addition to Camp Liberty would be about $150,000</strong> ($70,000 for the building; $65,000 to disassemble, transport and reassemble; and $15,000 in land prep. That's less than $13 a square foot! The building is in excellent shape, has about $90,000 in new HVAC installed just two years ago, and is ready to be moved next week. We either grab this, or it will be moved and stored on a lot, doubling the transit costs.
</p>
<p>I have been in the bulding. It is in excellent condition. If it were located anywhere else, it would have sold for three times this amount. However, it is in a very rural area (only 31 miles from Camp Liberty) and the transit costs are extremely high. For details go to:
</p>
<p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/258724979287357/?referralSurface=messenger_lightspeed_banner&amp;referralCode=messenger_banner" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DETAILS ON THIS BUILDING WITH PHOTOS AND LAYOUT</a>
</p>
<p>Camp Liberty has the funds to pay for the transfer ($65,000); however, until after reenrollments in the next 60 days (which will be too late for this opportunity), we cannot responsibly make this committment without outside assistance. We can do this through GoFundMe, or we are in a position to pay this off in two years with a private loan. Unfortunately, the size of our property is at the funding cap for our small rural bank, so that is not an option, especially with such little time.
</p>
<p>This is a shot in the dark! We have outgrown all of our facilities, as a result of the trememdous response to our program. In the past year, we have building the 2450 sq foot Medical Aid Station; 100 meter marksmanship range; added to the obstacle course, expanded and enhanced Ranger Village; added to visitor cottages and expanded the tactical training area. As a result, we are not in a position to take on this large of an unexpected expense.
</p>
<p>If this were to come to Camp Liberty, it would serve a multitude of uses, negating the need to add ANY new construction for several years:
</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Move the Dining Facility</strong> to the new building, allowing for an additional 100 seats. This would also expand our ability to support military reuninions, military weddings, large-scale training events, etc.
</li>
<li><strong>Add 80 bed spaces</strong> for Challengers. We would be able to keep up with our growth. Of special importance, by moving the Dining Facility, the space would be turned into additional female billeting space. We have had to turn away young ladies due to lack of bed space, which we must resolve.
</li>
<li><strong>Office and storage space</strong>, expanding our ability to coordinate what has become a 300+ person operation.
</li>
<li><strong>Additional two-person billeting</strong>, to support the EMS FastTrack program, which will provide training to transitioning military personnel who wish to enter the EMS career path. Our 28-day program will provide veterans with training for Emergency Medical Technician, CPR/AED, Emergency Vehicle Operator Course and the Tactical Casuality Care Course.
</li>
</ul>
<p>This is a huge opportunity, that is short-lived. If we can hit the mark, we will grab this up. If not ALL DONATIONS WILL BE REFUNDED.
</p>

Multi-Purpose Building at Camp Liberty!

The Medical Aid Station at Camp Liberty  is currently comprised of two old sheds leftover from when a church camp was on the property.  We have salvaged the buildings for as long as we can; however, they are now no longer functional and beyond economic repair.

Our desire is to build a new two-story 20 foot by 32 foot (1280 sf) Medical Aid Station that will housea fast-track training and certification program for separating military personnel who want to transition to the emergency medical industry.  The clinic will also provide instruction for civilians who wish to certify in a variety of medical skills.  The new Medical Aid Station is a critical addition will also allow us to continue to provide exceptionally high-quality medical support during the summer camp Extreme Military Challenge!

Our plan is:

FIRST FLOOR:  Medical clinic, exam rooms, medical storage, restroom / shower and office space.  The clinic would be configured so that it could be used for training Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) during Cadet Medic School.

SECOND FLOOR:  A multi visual classroom and lodging for the medic staff.

We are raising the money for the primary structure. Once it is in place, Camp Liberty personnel can complete the interior electrical, plumbing and the cosmetic completion.

With young people from around the world attending programs at Camp Liberty, it is critical that we have the right facility to best serve their medical needs.   Our Cadet Medic School provides Cadets with three weeks of intense medical orientation, resulting in the ability to test to be on the National Registry as an Emergency Medical Responder.

Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance on this important project. I am always honored by how much support we receive from the XMC family, even long after Cadets have gone on to their lives.

New Medical Aid Station at Camp Liberty

IN THE MILITARY, WE USE "BLUF" - which means, "Bottomline Upfront."

So, here's the BLUF: This 100' x 47' foot permanent tent was won at auction from GovDeals.com last month. My intent is for it to be used as a major addition to Camp Liberty in Battleground, Alabama. The tent is seven years old, valued at over $125,000 and was won at an incredible price of $8,100.

However, (the reason for this GoFundMe), it was to be paid for with proceeds from a house sale that fell through two days prior to closing.  Fortunately, GovDeals has held off on relisting it, realizing what a positive impact it could have on our unique youth development mission.

To make this significant addition to Camp Liberty, we have about two weeks to raise nearly $10,000 for the cost of the tent ($8100, which must be paid ASAP) and disassembly and transportation (about $1500-2000, which I have 45 days) from Tennessee to Alabama.   Otherwise, it will go back to auction again.

We do very well with our military summer camp, with 30% growth each season. We have continued to invest in the Camp Liberty facility and XMC program, making significant additions in order to provide even better and more realistic training to our Cadets.

Unfortunately, winter is our "lean season," with the majority of our enrollment income available in May, June and July each year. So, we just aren't able to carry the cost of such a large unbudgeted purchase and associated transport at this time of year.

I'm not one to ask for assistance; however, this is a "one-time good deal" that is too good to lose. Therefore, any support you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, in advance, for your assistance on this project. I am always honored by how much support we receive from the XMC family, even long after Cadets have gone on to their lives. If we can pull this off, then it's meant to be. If we can't make it work, then all funds will be refunded from this GoFundMe Campaign. Not a penny will be retained by Camp Liberty if we're not able to acquire the tent.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [phone redacted].

CEREMONIAL TENT - Camp Liberty, AL

On December 14th my daughters 4 and a half month old baby boy Oscar passed away from SIDS. My daughter also has a little girl who will be 2 on Christmas day. My daughter is a hard working mother but has been unable to work due to  the sudden death of her son. I am trying to raise money to help her with any final expenses for Oscar and to help her get by untill she is able to return to work. I know this is a financially hard month but this is also the time of year to help others and to give. I appreciate any and all donations received.
