<div>The Mourning After is a short, narrative film about a suicide. When a suicidal woman and a self-destructive rideshare driver cross paths by chance, an unplanned day together forces them to confront their grief, regrets, and the possibility that even two broken people might help each other heal.

<div>Supporting this project helps fund a creative expression of art that will help raise awareness on the difficult topic of suicide. We all have been affected by suicide in one way or another, and the more we normalize talking about it, the more lives we can possibly save.

<div>Having lost a few friends to suicide and depression, my goal is to create a dramatic piece that will not only entertain but also raise awareness on the taboo topic of suicide. Suicide and depression are more prevalent than society would like to admit, and raising awareness can save many lives.
