 Help a Single Mom of 3 Rebuild After Devastating Storm Damage
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Hi I'm Kiara a single mother of three children, in Merrillville Indiana over the last few months, our lives have been completely turned upside down by severe storms and damage to our home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 On June 11, the first major storm and flooding hit our area. Our home was damaged, we lost most of our clothes and all of our food, and my children were left traumatized by what happened. My youngest son is now terrified whenever he hears the word “storm.” Even strong wind or thunder makes him scared because he remembers what we went through.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Before we could fully recover, we were hit with more severe weather. On August 11, another storm caused widespread power outages across Indiana and added even more stress to an already difficult situation.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 After the first storm, I repeatedly reached out about repairs to our home. A tree had pierced the roof, and over time water continued entering the house. Water collected in the roof and even inside the light fixtures. I was told the home was considered livable, but I did not feel it was safe for my children and me.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Eventually, the damage became worse and the roof caved in. As more rain came, water poured into the house and destroyed what belongings we still had left.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We have now lost our TVs, furniture, clothing, household items, and so many of the things I worked hard to provide for my children. Before all of this happened, our home was beautiful, clean, well kept, and filled with everything my babies needed. Watching everything we worked for be destroyed has been heartbreaking.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 During this time, I was also faced with an eviction filing over unpaid July rent, even though we were not staying in the home because of the storm damage. My previous lease had ended in April 2026, and I had asked several times about renewing it.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I do have renters insurance, but because my policy was newly established, my claim is currently being reviewed while the insurance company verifies the circumstances surrounding the storms and my loss. In the meantime, my children and I still need somewhere safe and stable to go.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Right now, I am asking for help raising $6,000 so that I can begin rebuilding our lives. The money would help with a moving truck, storage unit, relocation expenses, replacement clothing and household necessities, and getting my children settled into a safe home again.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I know times are difficult for everyone, and I do not take asking for help lightly. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean more than I could ever explain. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story would also be a blessing.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My biggest goal is simply to give my babies stability again, replace what we can, and give them a safe place where they can finally feel like everything is going to be okay.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for reading our story, donating, sharing, praying, or helping us in any way. We truly appreciate it.

Help a Single Mom of 3 Rebuild After Losing Everything

<div>My name is Waverlynn, and I am reaching out for help during a challenging time in my life. Over the past four years, I have been living in Florida as a nonresident, separated from my home in Wisconsin due to family issues and ongoing health problems. Recently, I received a life-changing opportunity: I was accepted into Section 8 housing in Wisconsin, which would allow me to return home and regain stability. However, I discovered that I have an outstanding bill in Georgia that must be paid before I can pick up my voucher. Without resolving this, I risk losing my chance to move back home and start fresh.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> The funds raised will go directly toward paying off my bill in Georgia, packing up the belongings I’ve accumulated during my time in Florida, and covering the costs of moving back to Wisconsin. This support will not only help me secure housing but also give me the chance to focus on my health and rebuild my life. Mentally, emotionally, and financially, I am ready to stand on my own, and this is the door opening I truly need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> I am asking for your kindness and support to help me overcome this final hurdle. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to home and a new beginning. Thank you for considering my story and for any help you can offer. I appreciate any help and support

Help Waverlynn Move Home & Start Fresh

<div>My name is Julius, and I am reaching out for my father’s medical expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My father’s name is Lawrence Letikirich. He is 88 years old and lives in the northern part of Kenya. He has been experiencing a medical condition where he cannot keep anything he eats or drinks. He constantly experiences stomach, throat, and chest pain. He has lost weight tremendously due to not keeping anything he eats or drinks in his stomach. I was able to take him to nearby clinics around the area, but the condition did not improve. I decided to take him to Nairobi, where there are better hospitals, to be seen by a specialist on 03/03/2025. The doctors did a biopsy and found a growth on his esophagus, which narrowed the passage to the stomach. He is expecting the results, hopefully by next week.
</div>
<div>The donation will cover the medical cost, care, and treatment due to lack of health insurance. He will need to pay in advance before any procedure or treatment.
</div>
<div>I am reaching out for help because I couldn’t afford it by myself. I am grateful for your help. May God bless your helping hand.

<div>My name is Denise, and I’ve recently lost my daughter, <strong>Jessica Hardt, unexpectedly</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She had a huge heart and didn’t deserve to die the way she did. I would like to show her how much she is loved and have a funeral for her if possible. As a mother, I feel since I wasn’t there to protect my baby, I want her to get the goodbye she deserves. Jessica never felt loved and was always searching for it. Although our whole family loved her, there was something missing. She lost her dad a few years ago, and the same month Jessica died, she also lost her grandmother on her dad’s side. Jessica is also leaving behind two beautiful kids and I want them to celebrate her life and see how many people care about thier mommy . How scary it must be for them to no longer have a mommy those poor babies . My heart breaks for them the most. <strong>Any money would help and be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small; it all adds up to something.</strong> Thank you all for your prayers and donations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m hoping to have it in November. I am still currently waiting for my baby’s remains to be returned to us and also to find out the exact cause of death.

<span style="color:rgb(127,127,127);">Recently I lost my fiancée to COVID-19 complications on Christmas Day after a hard-fought battle with the virus that lasted more than three months - and I do not want her to be just another statistic for COVID-19 deaths.
<br /><br /> Despite this tragedy, a healthy baby boy was born who will never know his mother. Maurice Turner III.

Right now I’m still trying to process the grief.

Lareesia was a mother of two and pregnant with a boy approaching the due date.<br /><br />Coronavirus caused her to have breathing issues, and she went to the hospital.

Our son, was born premature on August 27, 2021. My fiancée then begin ECMO treatment at Banner University in September and fought for her life for the next three months.

That was the last time I was able to hear my fiancée's voice, now raising our children we shared together on my own.<br /><br />My mother has been here in Phoenix for the past 6 months helping keep the kids while I go to work, but she has a husband she lives with in Mississippi.

She will return home at the end of this month and I will begin my journey as a single father.<br /><br />This money will help me pay for childcare for my kids for the entire year. And help me with my newborn when needed throughout the evenings and nights.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you all and God Bless. <br /><br /><br />9/15/21<br />My fiancée has been fighting for her life battling Covid after giving birth to our son, whom she has never even held. Her name is Weedie. Her condition is critical and she is currently in a coma in ICU on a ventilator. <br /><br />We live in Phoenix, just us, our 12 year old, 3 year old and newborn. Her entire support team is 3000 miles away in Memphis. I have been off work to care for our 2 kids and the newborn. This fund would help me and my family out. Because Weedie was positive for Covid after giving birth to our son she could not hold him. And still has not held him to this day. <br /><br />We decided to let our 12 year old go </span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">back</span><span style="color:rgb(127,127,127);"> in school this year and she came home sick. We all ended up getting sick but Weedie did not get better. What was expected to be a couple days in the hospital turned into almost a month now. I tested negative for Covid and the kids are too. We had to have our son 5 weeks early because Weedie was positive and they did not want to risk the baby getting Covid, but also they could not begin her treatment while she was pregnant. <br /><br />We arrived at the hospital August 26, a day before she gave birth. She tested positive for Covid and the doctors decided to induce her labor. Our son was born premature on the 27 of August. I was right there with her holding her hand every step of the way. After his birth I had to leave her side to attend to our newborn baby in the hospital with him for 2 weeks. When I left her on August 27th, that was the last time I held her hand and she has been in the hospital every since. <br /><br />Right now Weedie is fighting for her life. <div>On August 23rd my son was shot multiple times in the back by a Kenosha Police Department officer, after my son broke up an altercation by an unrelated party. The shooting has now left my son critically injured as he fights for his life. The extent of my son’s injuries is unknown, but we remain prayerful as he continues to undergo multiple rounds of operations to save his life.This fund is established to cover my son’s medical expenses, mental and grief counseling for our family and to assist our family in the days to come, as we continue to seek justice for Jacob. A portion of these proceeds will also be used to benefit my son’s 6 children, some of whom witnessed this horrific act of violence.
