I am a proud Desert Shield and Desert Storm Veteran, and this year, the unveiling of the Desert Storm War Memorial in Washington DC is taking place. Being there for this historic event would mean a great deal to me, as it is not only a chance to honor my own service but, more importantly, to pay tribute to my veteran brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice. Unfortunately, I am on a fixed income and unable to work due to my disabilities, which makes it impossible for me to afford this trip on my own. The funds I raise will go directly toward travel, food, and hotel expenses for a three-day stay in Washington DC. Your support will help me be present at the memorial, where I can honor those who served alongside me and find a sense of closure and connection with my fellow veterans.
