<div>Hi. My name is John and I’m fundraising for an orphanage school in India. It’s called the <strong>Rama Devi School</strong>, and it’s been offering a home and education for orphaned and disadvantaged girls for the past 40 years.

<div>This year, times are tough. Money is tight and the director, a big-hearted saint named <strong>Swati</strong>, was considering cancelling the annual function at the end of the school year. This event is usually a party, honoring the new graduates and the best students in each class. They have music, special food, and a chance to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another. For the 375 girls they care for, it’s a special day on the calendar.

<div>It costs <strong>$1700</strong> to throw a party for 400 students and staff which seems like a bargain to me. $4.25 per person to make memories for children who don’t get many parties in life. Here's a breakdown:
