What they care about

I donate to a number of charities (MND, BHF, Prostate Cancer UK) to help raise awareness and much needed funds towards research for treatments and cures.

Hi there! I am very pleased to give this update - I completed the 38 mile Blue ride! Along with my 2 bike buddies we had a fantastic day at Tour de 4 2026. It was great to be part of the event set up by Sir Chris Hoy and Lady Sarra, supporting them, as well as joining so many other inspirational riders taking part. I am absolutely bowled over by the support given by everyone who donated to my fundraiser. You have helped me raise over £900 for Prostate Cancer UK. I can't thank you all enough. For anyone who would like to donate, I believe there is still time to leave a donation on my Gofundme page. Thank you! ‍♂️❤️
I have managed a total of 440 miles training so far after signing up for Tour de 4 2026, over a period of 19 weeks between 14th April and 27th August, involving 32 training rides! I am part of the Prostate Cancer UK Tour de 4 Team which has so far raised over £280,000 With 1 week to go until the big day (start time for me is 10.30 am on Sunday 6th September) your support could make a difference for those dealing with a Stage 4 Prostate Cancer diagnosis. Your donations could have a massive impact such as: £8 could pay to collect a blood sample which could be used to find new markers of aggressive prostate cancer to help doctors diagnose men earlier. £10 could fund a call with our Specialist Nurses, providing free, confidential support to men and their loved ones. £30 could pay a specialist for two hours to prepare prostate cancer samples for analysis, helping researchers understand how to stop the disease spreading. A massive thanks to everyone who has donated and supported me so far. Still time for donations, so please head over to my Gofundme page. Thank you! ‍♂️
I’m taking part in Tour de 4 2026, the cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. It brings together people living with Stage 4 cancer, alongside friends, families and supporters, to ride side by side and raise vital funds. Anyone who has read about or seen Sir Chris Hoy’s cancer story will understand how unbelievably courageous he is in facing his prostate cancer diagnosis, so determined to live his life to the full despite the awful prognosis. He has inspired me to undertake this cycling challenge to support him, and other cancer suffers, as well as to help raise awareness about prostate cancer and to raise vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK in aid of their fantastic work. The event is about showing that a diagnosis does not define a person, and highlighting what life with Stage 4 cancer can look like: strength, resilience and determination. All funds raised will go to charities supporting people affected by Stage 4 cancer. I am raising funds specifically for Prostate Cancer UK. If you’re able to donate or share, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps provide vital support and care.
