For the past 25 years, I have been pouring my heart and creativity into a comic and graphic novel series called ROCKET KID. Over the years, I’ve developed dozens of main characters and hundreds of supporting characters, building a world that I can't get enough of, frankly. A few years ago, I took the leap to start finalizing the story and sharing it publicly, and the response has been both humbling and motivating. This fundraiser is dedicated to the rewrite of Book 1, the very beginning of a 13-book journey. Each book in the ROCKET KID series has its own unique story and GoFundMe, but Book 1 is where it all begins. When i began writing I just let it pour out of me without any sembalance of pacing or structure, so now Im going back, trimming the fat and numbering pages. The images are the originals I used AI to storyboard 2-3yrs ago and are there mainly as a spaceholder while I block out the story line by line, page by page and book by book. The funds raised here will allow me to continue writing, editing, and producing the comic content. They’ll also help me get ROCKET KID online, promote it to a wider audience, and, with hope, see it printed and in readers’ hands one day. Thank you for your continued support and patience. What a long haul. ROCKET KID has been pouring out of me like the drain I clogged two decades ago was finally cleared free of debris. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of the multiverse and alternate dimensions. I’ve explored these concepts in my imagination, always wondering what it would look like if I could bring my own vision to life. That passion led me to write a story that’s close to my heart—a story that takes readers on a journey through 'mirrorverse worlds' unlike any they’ve seen before, with characters I’ve been dying to introduce to people everywhere.
