<div>This isn't just a trip—it's a chance to honor 3 living members of the Greatest Generation while we still have the privilege to do so

<div>During the first week of October, I will be taking 3 World War II veterans back to Europe to revisit the battlefields where they fought more than 80 years ago. For these men, this will likely be their final opportunity to return, and we're asking for your help to make this mission possible.
</div>

<li>Russ, 100 years old, will retrace his path through Germany's Hürtgen Forest and revisit the location where he was wounded while serving with the 1st Infantry Division, 18th Infantry Regiment, G Company, 1st Platoon.
</li>

<li>Truman, 101, served with the 106th Infantry Division, 424th Infantry Regiment, D Company, 1st Platoon. He will return to St. Vith, Belgium, where he crossed the Siegfried Line and took part in the Battle of the Bulge.

<ul>
<li>Frank Stellar, 102, was drafted in 1943 and landed in France after D-Day. During the battle and the mass casualties, Frank was reassigned to the 36th infantry division, fighting through Belgium and Germany.
</li>

<div>These 3 men helped shape history through their courage and sacrifice. They deserve the opportunity to return to the places where they served and reflect on the legacy they helped create.
</div>
<div>Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover airfare, hotels, group transportation, meals, and the travel expenses of the family members, caregivers, and support personnel needed to safely accompany them.

Re-building After Loss

The Ghostbusters fan community has always been the underdogs, and today we want to band together to help our friends who are in need. Last night, Charles Fincher and his family lost essentially everything they own in a devastating house fire. <br /><br />Many of you know that Charles and his father James have been pioneers in the Ghostbusters prop building community, and we want to ensure that their family has the immediate resources needed to overcome this awful event.  Every dollar counts, and even if you can't donate, please help spread the word by sharing this page. Ghostbusters -Fincher Family House Fund

Brandon Weidner, a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend passed on April 4th.    Brandon was a larger than life figure that took over a room when he entered, and was always there to lend a helping hand or a word of encouragement.  He gave so much to those around him during his life, and held true to this even in his death.<br /><br />In honor of Brandon's kindness and giving to others, a memorial fund has been set up to benefit his children Ryleigh and Brody.  The funds raised here will be placed into a college fund for each of them. <br /><br />Your support and generosity will go to making sure that Brandon's  dreams for Ryleigh and Brody live on.<br /><br />The family is thankful for your thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.  We hope that everyone takes the time to keep Brandon's memory alive by passing kindness and generosity along to others. <br /><br />~The Weidner Family

Kyle Wetherhold, a great man, wonderful father of five, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, and a Principal in Wilson School District in Reading, PA area, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.  He has had surgery which removed 90% of the tumor, but unfortunately, 10% was uable to be removed since the removal would greatly decrease his functionality.  To address the remaining cancer, he will need radiation therapy as well as chemo.  Apparently insurance companies don't like to pay for proton therapy but it is the least damaging to healthy cells.  This is a very expensive out-of-pocket cost.  Because of the monumental cost for the proton therapy, he would have to be treated with foton therapy which is damaging to healthy cells and would likely do more harm.  His treatment, whether, proton or foton, will begin in less than two weeks.  They will need to know in advance which therapy to use, depending on what the insurance will cover.  So time is of the essence for that, but ongoing exenses will mount up for his aftercare, the children's care, and living expenses as he will not be able to work for some time.  <br /><br />If you are able, please donate what you can to help restore Kyle to full recovery and his family to manage.  His responsibilities are many as a person who has positively influenced countless children at school through the years, devotes himself to his beautiful wife and to his beautiful children, Zach, Jacob, Luke, Jesse and Alayna.  As an upright man who cares deeply about being a living example of integrity, who gives profusely of himself and a man whose heart desires to serve the Lord, I pray those of us who know Kyle or care about helping him to fully recover, will choose to help, so he can return to a full life serving others.<br /><br />If you are, or are not able to give, your fervent prayers for the tumor to be completely eradicated, are considered a most welcome blessing.  Thank you for caring.
