<div>Recently, I found out that Sid’s kitty, Jasper, had a urinary tract infection. If you’ve ever had the “pleasure” of experiencing the absolute HELL that is a UTI, you already know the amount of pain and discomfort Jasper was going through. Now, imagine feeling that way and not having words to communicate with your person what you need!

<div>At the end of the day, Jasper had a urinary obstruction and an inflamed kidney. Because urinary tract infections are so dangerous in male cats, he had to spend 2 nights at the emergency vet, was sedated, and had a catheter to clear the blockage. He will be fed a prescription diet now to prevent future occurrences.

<div><strong>Jasper’s final bill was $3,556.36.</strong>

<div>On December 15, 2023 Samara (affectionately known as Sam) was admitted to the hospital with renal failure. True to form, she continued to find strength and would even inject humor whenever possible to this scary and awful situation. Her husband Erick (known as Dub to art collectors and friends) has been at her side, along with family and loved ones, optimistic for an improvement in her health and a chance to return home. Unfortunately, her progression is slow with a prognosis that is uncertain. All of us that love her are grappling with this news, especially Erick, who has missed a lot of work while prioritizing her care.

<div>Anyone who has attended OHSO Paradise Valley over the past year has noticed the beautiful energy that is Ray. His infectious laugh fills the entire area and just creates instant joy for so many. This charity is run by his coworkers and friends who are trying to collect money to help him with his recent medical costs. Out of respect for his and his family's privacy, we cannot give details, but please do keep him in your thoughts and prayers and help with whatever you can. The money raised will be going straight to him and his family to help with any and all medical costs, travel costs, or general bills so all focus can go on him and his recovery.

Medical and Funeral costs for Ray’s Family

<div>On the evening of September 21st, my beautiful mother Ann Dellisanti-Rojas was discovered in the middle of the night by my stepfather in the midst of suffering a set of what was determined to be multiple severe strokes, coming seemingly out of nowhere. After being rushed to the ER and admitted to ICU, Ann at only 49 years young, is now fighting for her life with each passing hour. It was discovered through scans that multiple bloodclots have formed and have been circulating throughout her body, and have collected in the arteries in the neck and brain, along with the side effects and post trauma of the strokes.

<div>She was quickly transferred to a larger Neurological Institution, and we are relieved that she is in the best hands in the country, but nevertheless we as a family are traumatized, terrified, and uncertain what the future holds. Ann has been kept medically unconscious and intubated for the 9 days as doctors work as hard as humanly possible 24/7 to pinpoint what the cause of this is and help to track and monitor her brain swelling, check the responsiveness of her body to the many treatments, and offer comfort to her in the best ways they can as she rests and tries to heal.

<div>My mother currently has an unknown discharge date due to the instability of her condition, and the fact that news is changing on the hour as the specialists attempt to narrow down what may have happened and as she continues to clot mysteriously, despite her high level of blood thinners she is being administered-- all while being sure her other vitals and bodily needs remain stable.

<div>Realistically, it breaks our hearts to say that we do not know her outcome, but are hoping with everything in our souls for the best for her and for her to wake up-- as we have been told if she recovers and continues to remain stable and eventually heal, this is going to be multiple weeks in the ICU, and then months if not years of rehabilitation resulting in a permanent disability for the rest of her life.

<div>Ann is going to have a very long road ahead of recovery as she is hopefully soon brought back to consciousness, becomes stable with her swelling, and eventually relearns mobility in her entire left side post stroke. Life will be different from now on, but as long as we have her with us-- we don’t care what the future holds.

<div>Ann was not known by herself or her family to have any prior health concerns or existing conditions, but doctors are assuming to the best of their ability that this is a culmination of many factors. It has been described as “the perfect storm” which is something no one wants to hear about the most important person in their lives and has touched the hearts of countless people and families through her kindness, humor, talents, and unconditional love for others.

<div>This has blindsided us. She does not deserve this. And as we gather to desperately figure out the next best steps, we humbly turn to all those who love her to help provide comfort and solace as we try to get our Annie better and create a comfortable life once she finally leaves the hospital.

<div>We have no idea what to expect both medically and financially. For many of you in Ann’s wider circles or as her clients and countless friends, this is our first public speaking out of the terrifying health events of the last week-- and may be the first you hear of this so far. We feel your deep pain and shell shock with this news-- and thank you for your good energies and prayers from all over the world. Especially we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading this update post, and for loving this incredible woman for all she has given, as well as all that she still has left to live. We’ve just got to get there. She will get through this, because she is the strongest woman anyone could know.

Nazario filed a federal lawsuit in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia at Norfolk, 2:21-cv-00169, to hold two Windsor police officers accountable to their oath - “...I shall obey the laws of the United States of America and of the Commonwealth of Virginia, <strong>and shall support and defend their constitutions against all enemies whomsoever, foreign and domestic</strong>....”<br /><br />On December 5, 2020, Lt. Nazario was passing through the Town of Windsor, Virginia with temporary cardboard license info taped to the rear window.  He was not speeding.  A simple traffic stop was initiated ostensibly for the lack of a rear license plate.  Within seconds, Lt. Nazario submitted to the officer's flashing lights by slowing down, activating his turn signal and pulling into a well-lit area less than a mile away.   <strong>One of the officer's acknowledged that based on his training and experience he knew that the driver was "almost certainly" or with "at least 80%" probability a </strong><strong>minority</strong>.  The officers escalated the routine traffic stop to a "felony traffic stop" and a "high risk traffic stop" and immediately escalated the encounter by threatening deadly force with guns drawn.   Fearing for his life, with his hands visible and out of the window, Lt. Nazario repeatedly asked "What's going on?"  He was given <strong>conflicting instructions "Keep your hands outside the window!" and "Get out of the car now!</strong>"  One of the officers responded <strong>"What's going on-- you are fix'n to ride the lightning son!"</strong> <strong> When Lt. Nazario stated "I'm honestly afraid to get out..." the officer responded "YOU SHOULD BE!"</strong>  He was pepper sprayed and pulled from his car and placed in handcuffs.  <strong>This should not have happened to one of our soldiers! <a href="https://youtu.be/WaG8TBRDx50" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Watch One of the Body Cams</a> </strong><br /><br /><strong>Liberty is not free</strong>. Our freedoms are too precious to give up without a fight. The question is whether you will do your part to support this fight, to protect and safeguard our liberty against all enemies whomsoever, both foreign and domestic. Unless somebody holds government servants faithful to the pledge, it is meaningless and your liberties are at risk. Stand with Lt. Caron Nazario - Defending Liberty

In June of 2019, Cody knew something wasn’t right. The pain in his lower back had only grown worse and the lump in his right pelvis had developed into the size of a football. What he didn’t know at the time, was that over the next 12 months he would be going to war with a rare, life threatening form of primary bone cancer called <a href="https://www.cancer.org/cancer/osteosarcoma/about/what-is-osteosarcoma.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">chondroblastic osteosarcoma</a> . <br /><br />Over the course of his fight, Cody would spend 150 plus days in the hospital; endure a grueling 3 rounds of brutal chemo which would then be followed by an ultra-high-risk surgery to remove the deadly tumor from his pelvis. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/49093980_1593265206285841_r.jpeg" alt="49093980_1593265206285841_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Just weeks before the surgery, Cody would find out that in order to achieve proper surgical margin, they would have to perform an extended hemi-pelvectomy, which would ultimately result in the amputation of his right leg, right pelvis and his tumor altogether. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/49093980_1593265236113587_r.jpeg" alt="49093980_1593265236113587_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />If you know Cody, you know he’s a fighter and that he viewed this battle with cancer as something he refused to lose. It was about growing old with his beautiful wife who endured and stood by him every step of the way. Hello family! I come today to ask you for help. As most of you know, I have suffered a couple work injuries that have rendered me bed ridden for quite some time, causing me to become very pleasantly plump! Ok, maybe way more than that, I'm hella fat (was 560lbs.) But for the last year I have been fighting to get my life back. I know I am in desperate need of weight loss surgery. Sooooo... I have found a surgeon willing to operate on me, if I but only achieve 3 goals:1. Get my weight under 500lbs.2. Dramatically alter my diet.3. Pass a psychiatric evaluation.Well I am happy to say 6 months in to my journey that I have brought my weight down to <490lbs., I have truly gained control on my appetite (SO TOUGH!!!), and my shrink says I mentally ready to go! I have achieved all of the goals my surgeon has set for me and he has scheduled my Sleeve Gastrectomy for the morning of December 9th!!! But, there's a catch...The out of pocket is over 3 times what we were originally told to budget for, and the payment is scheduled to be paid in full a week in advance, or the surgery off. Needless to say, I am not in any position financially to facilitate this enormous task laid before me. So I come to you now, not knowing what else to do; not knowing who else to ask. If you are able to, in any way, help a brother out. I'm stuck between an empty wallet and a heart attack, and I have nowhere else to turn.
