Hi, my name is Jody , im a 49 yr old mum of 6 kids. The reason I am asking for help is because due to having vascular disease ive had both my legs amputated. The 2 kids i have at home 14yr old girl and 15yr old boy have I wish. They want me to spend time with them in the loungeroom watching movies ect but I can't transfer off my current couch as it's at the wrong height ., all my time is spent on my bed or in my wheelchair. Yes im on ndis but I don't qualify for the recliner due to being a bilateral amputee. I dont like asking for help but I also don't like being stuck in my room 24/7Please help me to get a couch so I can sit out with my kids and granddaughter. The one I own isn't high enough and because I'm a bilateral amputee of the legs I can't get on or off my current couch so im always in my room on my bed.
