 The Stinkfoot Orchestra's recent shows in San Diego and Ventura were a great success. We loved the venues we played and all the people we met. We live to share Frank's music, and this band, as anyone who's seen us will agree, is a labor of love. We usually don't ask much of our fans, besides sharing the love of Zappa and the willingness to be pelted with rubber chickens, but we really could use your support now. We are deeply grateful for every bit of kindness. 
 
 
 Our trusty steed, Phydo3, the tour bus, gear-hauler and home base on tour, had catastrophic engine failure on the way back to the Bay. The ensuing charges for towing and rental vehicles, combined with the cost of a new engine installed, cost $9,000 we don't have. Please consider pitching in... "Hey anybody, can you spare a dime, if you're really hurting, a nickel will be fine."

Because Coffee must relocate! Funds raised will go towards installing infrastructure required by the health department for food service, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and any other necessary work to make a new space ready for coffee shop use. Unfortunately there are no spaces currently available that suit our needs as a small food service business -- the empty restaurants are too big/expensive, Has Beans needs about $40k of work to be brought up to code, 321 is in use by offices -- and we do not have the funds to install infrastructure all over again in a new space.  However, there are some potential spaces in Old Town that could work for us if we can make the necessary improvements to put in our machine connections, floor sinks, commercial kitchen flooring, etc. Ideally we'll get into a space that will fit a full-size convection oven so that we can bring back our amazing baked goods and light lunch fare on a larger scale!  If you'd like to help - please purchase or donate here!  ***We will add items for purchase and rewards for donations as they become available so please check back often and keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates!  If you have items or rewards to share/donate let us know via Facebook or email: <a href="mailto:[email redacted]">[email redacted]</a> !*** Help us continue making great espresso, coffee, house-made chai, looseleaf teas, cold brew, and to bring back our delicious baked goods and foodstuffs, too!

Dave was born on July 21, 1990 in Orange County, California. The youngest in the family, Dave is a beloved son, brother, and friend. To know Dave is to know a great, pure heart; one that brakes for snakes, makes kids laugh, and doesn't litter. He's an avid animal advocate who's never met a creature he didn't like, and his Netflix queue will hint at a serious obsession with documentaries, plant life, and the occasional re-watch of Pulp Fiction. After high school, college, and a few tattoos, Dave became a member of the road crew for British punk band 'The Adicts' in 2012, later joining the band as their bassist. For the last four years, Dave has played with the Adicts on several world tours and on their latest studio album, making friends and memories across the globe. Dave was involved in a car accident on September 17, 2017 and sustained life-altering spinal cord injuries. Still in ICU, Dave has undergone several surgeries, and the complex nature of his injury needs to be closely monitored. Due to the severity of his injuries, we are raising funds that will be used to purchase the necessary mobility instruments and specialized equipment that he will needs as he continues his rehabilitation. A tragedy has befallen a community. A community not defined by geographical boundaries but rather by its proximity to an extraordinary person, Chris Cocores. Chris was the lone survivor in a vehicle collision the night of December 28th. A heartreanding casualty of the wreck was Cecilla Casares, Chris' girlfriend, and number 1 fan, who will be remembered as the most loyal, dedicated, and supportive companion to draw breath. Chris "Coco" Cocores to the uninitiated is simply an MMA title holder. However, those that know him, know him much more as a champion of love and a winner in the truest sense of the word. This donation fund will go both to assist Cecilla's family with the expenses associated with their heartbreaking loss and to sponsor Coco's inspirational return to health and well-being. Rest assured that through the many surgeries and difficult recovery that Chris faces he will always be a man who behaves in a manner befitting our monetary and emotional support. We love Chris Cocores, and we guarantee your connection made with him through this fundraising campaign will result in your love for him growing as well. On Friday October 21st, Jeremy fell 20 feet from a roof and suffered severe injuries, shattering both of his heels. He is currently on strict bedrest and had surgery on November 2nd to reconstruct the heel and attempt to restore mobility. These types of fractures are severe, painful and potentially disabling. They will not know how much he will heal or if there will be long term complications that are associated with this type of injury until he goes through the recovery process. We’re asking for support for this sweet family with the escalating medical bills and loss of income that will mount over the next several months. Jeremy and Paula have 5 beautiful daughters, 2 of which are under the age of two.  Most importantly, they are asking for prayer – for Jeremy’s body and healing, for him to remain positive during this long and painful recovery, and for Paula as she is now carrying the responsibility of providing for the family while caring for them and Jeremy as well – specifically for grace, for strength to handle what is before her. Though they have a long road ahead, they are also giving God thanks that Jeremy’s injuries weren’t worse than what they are. They believe in the power of prayer!
