<div>Greg Douglas is a Marine who proudly served his country during the Persian Gulf War aka Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. He was in-country for 7 months and was exposed to oil fire smoke, burn pits, the nerve agent Sarin, and other toxins. He thought he made it through the war unscathed but upon returning home he developed some serious medical issues that have effected every aspect of his life. He developed breast cancer, which is rare for men, and started to experience phantom pain in his extremities which developed into fibromyalgia and PTSD and he is now in constant pain. He needs to use a mobile chair to help him get around and lift his appendages.

<div>Rather than easily getting treatment for his symptoms, this veteran was hit with roadblock after roadblock. Improper treatments, red tape, unavailable therapy, and a series of possible help that mostly resulted in dead ends.

<div>Greg submitted a rant to Lewis Black's podcast where Lewis shared Greg's story with his listeners. Many of them have reached out wondering how they can help Greg, with recommendations on charities to contact as well as offers of support. Some folks simply asked if they could send him some money. So with his blessing, we set up this GoFundMe to try to help Greg any way we can.

<div>Since writing in, Greg has found a place better suited for him to live. He'll be moving from Massachusetts to a new place in Florida, and so he'll need some help getting the new place set up and establishing his life there. He is also now getting some assistance from his VA but there is more that can be done.

<li><strong>Vehicle Mobility: </strong>Greg needs a van that can be outfitted for his disability which will allow him to board and drive.

<div>As some of you may know, tragedy struck a local family today. The Martin family were at the dentist, where a terrible incident resulted in them losing their four year old, sweet girl, Rosalie. Jennifer and Jessel unfortunately, did not have any life insurance on Rosie, as they never expected to lose their precious girl at all, let alone this soon. This tragedy has left this family in shambles, but at this time, per the family, we are asking if anyone would like to donate to help them with the costs to bury their sweet Rosie &amp; any expenses that the family may have while this family seeks the medical help needed to process their grief for themselves, and their three children. If you can donate anything at all, any donation would be greatly appreciated. If you could pray for this family, they could genuinely use that at this time. Thank you. Tatiana leaves behind a 4 yr old son Xavier. She was dedicated to this little boy. She taught him so much and raised him to be an amazing human being. <div>Hello, my name is Phil Wells. I want to raise money for my older brother, Sgt. Joseph Wells. Joe was involved in an accident/incident in September 2022 while on duty for the Edmond, Oklahoma Police Department.

<div>Joe was intentionally hit by a driver of an F-150 while he was off of his police motorcycle. Joe was thrown 50 feet into a ditch. He was in a medically induced coma for a month and was hospilized for 2 months.
</div>

<div>Joe was told he has nerve damage to his shoulder and leg. He won’t be able to return to work. Before the accident, Joe was into jitsu, power lifting, his motorcycle, off roading, and wood working to name a few.
</div>

<div>Joe worked a lot, like most Police Officers do, to provide for his family and have the things he loved in life—like his 1982 CJ8.
</div>

<div>Joe and Cheridan, who is also an Edmond police officer, have 3 children, 16, 9, and 8 years old.

<div>Oklohoma does not have the charities foundations that other states have for injured/ fallen officers.

<div>I know 20k isn’t much for the pain and suffering Joe and Cheridan went through. However it would be enough to cover the bill for a little bit.

Yet every single day he continues to push forward with courage, determination, and the same strength that made him the kind of Sergeant people trusted and respected.

<div>The truth is, his fight is far from over. There are still more surgeries ahead and a long road of recovery as Joe works to rebuild his life after everything he’s been through.

<div>When we first started this fundraiser, we simply didn’t know how long or difficult the journey ahead would be. Because of that, we’ve made the decision to increase the goal as Joe continues this battle.

<div>What has meant the most to our family during this time is the incredible support from our community. Friends, family, fellow officers, and even people we’ve never met have stepped forward with prayers, encouragement, and generosity.
