<div>Magali Readmon has been a bright light at Mohawk Elementary for 13 years, bringing energy, laughter, and kindness to everyone she meets. As her coworkers, we’ve seen how much she means to our school family. Her positivity and warmth have made a real difference in the lives of students, parents, and staff.

<div>Magali was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and while this news was unexpected, we know she’s ready to take it on with her usual strength and positivity. Although she will not be returning to Mohawk this year while she focuses on her health, we want to rally around her and help alleviate the financial burden of medical expenses during her recovery. She’s already facing this challenge with courage, and we want to make sure she feels supported every step of the way. We’re starting this GoFundMe to help cover her insurance deductible and make sure she can focus on what matters most: healing, spending time with her husband and two kids, and getting back to the classroom she loves.

We are heartbroken to share that the Bradford family has lost their 16-year-old son, Asher, on Monday, May 4. Asher was a sophomore at Richardson High School, a percussionist in the RHS band, a skilled pianist, and loved playing games. He cherished his role as a big brother to Greyson and Finn. He brought joy and warmth to those around him and will be deeply missed.

 Jenny and Christian are facing unimaginable grief and the sudden expenses that come with such a loss. Donations will help cover funeral costs and provide support as they take time away from work to grieve and care for each other. Your generosity will help ease their burden and allow them to focus on healing together.

<div>These amazing sisters and their families have lost their dear parents Penny &amp; Emlyn Jeffrey and Alicia's oldest daughter Madelyn 'Emmy' Jeffrey (age 11) known to many as Maddy, in the catastrophic Central Texas Floods. Their cabin in Hunt, TX was washed away due to flash flooding on July 4, 2025. Penny and Emlyn were pillars of their community, loved their girls fiercely and the most loyal friends. Emmy was a firecracker filled with love and passion. They will be forever missed.
