Duane Reese is a retired Navy man who has always gone above and beyond for others. Recently, he faced a major health challenge—a triple bypass heart surgery. Thanks to his military benefits, most of his medical bills are covered, but Duane is now facing significant recovery expenses that aren't included, such as travel back and forth to his follow-up appointments and the furniture that was purchased to help him during his recovery.
After his service in the Navy, Duane became a pillar in the amateur radio community, especially in the world of DMR radio. He worked tirelessly to bring new products from manufacturers to the US, and provided tech support to countless people while traveling the country in his RV with his wife, Nancy. Duane has always been there for others, offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and encouragement to those around him. Personally, he has been a shoulder for me to cry on, a friend who encouraged me to learn and excel in my skills with DMR radio, and even helped me become a beta tester for one of the factories that makes the radios we use.
Now, Duane needs our help. The funds raised will go directly toward his recovery expenses, easing the financial burden so he can focus on healing. When I became sick and had to go on medical leave from work, Duane set up a GoFundMe for me. I want to return the favor and show him how loved and appreciated he is by the community. Any support you can give will make a real difference in Duane’s life as he recovers. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
