<div><strong>CANCER.....the 6 letter word that nobody wants to hear.</strong> To know Kim is to love her, and to meet her you would never know the battle she has been fighting since June 2021. That battle happens to be Ovarian Cancer.

<div>Within the last couple of weeks, Kim has learned the cancer is now in her lungs, groin, and skin. The doctors are stunned since her case is so unique, and they have advised there is not much more they can do. At this time, she has been told to go home, be with her family, travel, and do all of the things she loves.

<div>If you can, please take the time and donate to help Kim and Jeni as they switch gears and help Kim live what time she has left with us to the best of their abilities. <strong>This will help cover the cost for them to travel and do all of the fun things, but also help cover their living expenses as they will both be taking time away from work to enjoy each other and their friends and family.</strong> At some point, expenses will also be used to cover the end-of-life care and funeral expenses, although we will cross that bridge when it comes. Right now, they are just focused on living the best life they can each day they are given.

Donate to Kim's Fight: Embrace Every Moment

<div>Hi Friends &amp; Family, on Dec 8th it was confirmed that Kim’s cancer was back as metastatic carcinoma in the inguinal lymph nodes. We were shocked, devastated and quite frankly scared to death. Kim will be having surgery to remove several lymph nodes on Saturday Dec 17th. They will give her 4-6 weeks to recover before she begins 15-33 rounds of radiation. This treatment will require her to stay in Springfield each week for the duration since radiation will be done daily. After radiation is compete she will then begin chemo every 3 weeks for a total of 6 rounds. As you can imagine we are gearing up for a long lengthy battle.

<div>We also haven’t shared with many people that I lost my job on Oct 12th so the financial strain and stress has been exacerbated by this. Thankfully I signed my new offer letter with a great company with a start date of Jan 3rd.

Kim’s recurrent Ovarian Cancer Journey

I'm starting this to help my best friend/sister who unfortunately lost her six month old son on Friday October 2nd. Kamden River was born April 9th 2020 weighing in at 3 pounds 15 ounces. Kamden River Schartz was taken to soon, he stopped breathing Thursday morning. SBA and Wesley did everything that they could to save this precious little boy. But God had other plans for him and needed him right away. He was the most amazing perfect baby boy ever!! He had the best laugh, smile, and cute faces ever. Kamden loved jamming to music, watching Paw Patrol with his best bud Breklen, hanging out with mom and dad and spending time with the rest of his family. Everyone that knew Kamden loved him so much and wanted the best for him! Kamden River "I hope you're dancing in the sky, And I hope you're singing in the angel's choir, And I hope the angels know what they have, I'll bet it's so nice up in heaven since you arrived." You are very much loved and missed right now little man. Rest in Paradise Kamden River Schartz. I'm trying to help raise donations for services and hard times that are yet to come.
